I was an English teacher for many years, and these just make me go : "Over top of" - No! No! No! It's ON TOP OF or just plain OVER. "Acrost" - There is no "t" in "across." "Prep the card base" - Since when is folding a card or dusting it with anti-static powder considered preparation for surgery? I have a lot more, but I didn't want to be too picky.

Hahaha, picky is OK. Please share more! Listening to people speak, especially if they're feeling awkward, trying to fill time, or don't have a script, is generally painful... I think a lot of us have bad verbal habits. I'm sure I do. I keep hearing my husband on the phone saying "you guys's store" which is just awful! I can handle "you guys," although I know a lot of people wouldn't like that, but adding a possessive to it? Nope. (But the linguist in me is impressed by the flexibility of the English language). I have a lot of language peeves.

Overuse of "I'm gonna go ahead and..." drives me insane! Some people can't seem to make ANY move in a video without "go ahead and" preceding it. If it were a drinking game, I'd be passed out.
It can make sense in certain contexts, and if it's only used occasionally, it's not terrible. But one day, my DS (who was in the room but not watching the video) even said, "What's he (the guy in the video) gonna go ahead and do next?"

I don't watch a lot of process videos but:
My boss says a lot of things that annoy me lol. She always says "make for sure". It annoys the heck out of me! I know "make sure" but I had never heard anyone add the 'for' in the phrase.
She also calls the coffee carafe a 'craft'. UGH!
Others:
It makes me crazy when people don't know where (in which direction) another state is in relation to theirs. Like someone in Ohio saying, "my sister came down from Tennessee." Um, no she didn't. She came UP!
When someone says " I learnt" instead of "I learned."
Oh I could go on and on lol.

Learnt and learned are both correct. Learnt is typically used in British English but not unheard of in American English. I've heard it used in the south.

I can't stand the words irregardless and supposably!
My DH, as much as I love him, says tide to indicate a church tithe and mute point to indicate something that is not important. Uggh!

I am dyslexic and I have a speech impediment so I say a lot of crazy things. I hate "Ok, folks." The way some of these stamping & scrapping stars say folks is so arrogant. You can hear it in the tone of their voice like they use it to address you down. No, inks are not "yummy". "I am OCD." No your not. I am OCD so I really know. I do watch a YouTuber that is OCD. I have seen comments from scrap stars saying "I am OCD too Ha, ha!" No your not. You are insensitive. We both have had great discussions about those women. This is so Rad! Are you joking me? ? Rad? Really? "These stamps are so rad!" No, they are not. Some ladies do use phrases or words so messed up it is cute. Watch one YouTuber who pronounces sequins like seaqueeins Makes me laugh so hard. I am not making fun of her. I think it is cute and part of her.

I just heard another one: "It's so fun!" "It's so MUCH fun" is the correct way to say this. I've heard this only in videos, just like "over top of." I think one person says it, and the rest follow.

Super cute Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh.....makes my ears bleed! OMG! YESSS!!! There is one stamper I watch and every stamp is "super cute." Another stamper I watch on occasion will stamp down her image and go "Oh my! Isn't that fun?" in the most flat, unemotional tone of voice.

I used to listen to a podcast where the host would say "oh, that's funny" but would never actually laugh at the things she found funny. I don't know where or why I picked up words like super-cute and other super-stupid crimes against English, but I found myself saying that a few years ago. (hangs head in shame, especially because I'm far too old for that kind of manic enthusiasm)

"goodies" "I picked up" like in scrapbook hauls.... I picked up one of these. I picked up one of those. I picked up 4 blue ones. ETA: I thought of another one: "try and" I want to try and get this done by tonight." double

"These ones here." "Those ones there." 😨 I'm a speech therapist, so I try and cut people some slack (and I don't want people to not talk to me because they're paranoid), but wow, really?
The overuse of yummy, stinkin' cute and other "in" phrases (totes adorbs anyone😉) make me nuts.there's also someone out there who laughs (inappropriately) after almost everything she says. I think the kicker though as some others have mentioned is when someone gabs on and on and never gets to the point. I don't need a ten minute intro on how you came to the realization that this technique was going to be life changing, I just want to know how you did it already. I'll either fast forward or find a more concise video. I love bloggers that post written descriptions and videos. Sometimes you just don't have 30 minutes to spare, kwim? 😊

For some reason hearing "I'm going to bring in..." makes me want to not listen any more. I know there's nothing wrong with the phrase, but hearing in multiple times in every video is annoying.

Video irritants; making up the script as the camera is running. Not having all the supplies for the demonstration at hand. All of the introductory explanations as if the viewers had no concept of the project. I don't really care you used "Fawn Tan" for your project, just show me the dimensions. Completed projects with no construction demonstration or sizes. Maybe I just a little too picky.

Never mistake less for fewer, because for since, or data for data (get that plural correct). Every discussion we have I end up heading to the internet to find new meanings. I have to say I love it. My coworker and I just look at each other and laugh half of the time and she has a PhD. My irritation is stupid. I hate it when people call me a "lovie" and do magic finger moves before and after the video to say hello and good-bye. Not sure what my signature move would be, but I know it won't involve jazz hands or poker dealer hands.

Ummmm, drives me nuts and falls into Don's making up the script. When I present something at work, whether it's a quick 3-5 minutes or a 20 minute presentation, I always make key notes on what I want to say. I also agree with not having all the supplies together and ready. Very vanilla and whisper white, yes, watch a lot of SU demonstrators My second biggest pet peeve right up there with ummmm, is all the unnecessary hand movements. It's another time filler and very distracting. Please don't talk with your hands on camera or flutter them all over the place.

Another vote for "go ahead and..." every second sentence. I had to come over here because I'm watching someone who is using the phrases "going ahead and..." "went ahead and..." "I'm going to go ahead and add..." so much, it really does feel like every other sentence. I hadn't noticed until the Peas pointed out. Now I can barely stand to listen! (I need one of those screaming GAH! smilies). And the sad thing is, her voice-over is otherwise really good. Concise and organized, with videos planned and edited really well. I went ahead and paused the video to come and point that out. I'm just going to go ahead and see if I can stop hearing her say that now...

I can't even watch haul videos, because they all have the crinkly packaging. AAAGH!
Too much hand-miming time at the beginning really drives me nuts. What the actual heck? Get to the point and show us something!
One of the sweet YouTubers that I have been watching lately says "die cut out" a piece, instead of just "die cut". I don't think that is correct, and it just sounds weird. Other than that, I really like her.
I am guilty of saying "super-sweet" and "fun" to excess. Because I'm cool like that.

Yes, the evil crinkly bags. OMG!!!!!! I am wearing headphones while listening to videos. I just want to grab those bags and wrinkle in their ears, let them know how that feels, lol.
If a YT is doing vlog style I don't mind crazy things. Yes, if it is a professionally done video then I am side eyeing and turning off. I watched one SimonSaysStamps video one day and the girl talked so fast it was like a chipmunk got into some sugar. I am thinking "She represents their company?" I had images in my mind of SSS throwing my items in a box super fast while Baloo brings my packages to me in an airplane.
