"I'm moving the camera now..." Over and over again. I can see that. You don't need to explain every time you need to adjust the camera. Or why.
"Sorry about the rooster crowing in the background." Yes, I heard it. No, I didn't think it was planned or expected, but every non-essential comment that you add just drags out the video longer and is unnecessary. The same goes for dogs barking, kids crying. If you need to pause the camera to deal with a child's needs, just hit the pause button and start again when you are ready. Do not leave the camera and commentary going.
Tell the important stuff, such as what supplies you use, how to do the technique, and stop babbling just to fill the silence. Please.
Edited to add: I am another one who hates hearing that something is "super cute." I also detest the big long explanations regarding _______________ that I really don't need to know.
In all fairness, I know that if I ever tried to do a video, I might babble, too, but that is where editing software is useful. Or retakes.
Maybe I am a perfectionist, but if I were posting a video, I would want it to be as professional as possible before posting, especially if I were representing a company or website.

This is not so much about words but when I watch MFT videos, it sounds like the person is in a tunnel or something. It's a faraway effect and kind of annoying from a professional company.

Goofy laughing or cackling really turns me off too. There are some really talented stampers I refuse to watch because they laugh or cackle too much. One thing that I've noticed recently is "eeeeeaaaaand" instead of "and."

I haven't watched MFT videos but I started watching a planner lady and she must be filming in a room that's very empty or has no hard soft surfaces, because there's an empty echo. I hope once she gets more experienced that she gets some sound dampening or a better microphone or moves to a different room. I would expect a legit business to have professional sound too.

"All the sudden" & "I have this for sell" AHHHH!! Yesss!! There's an HSN host who says that all the time, and it drives me crazy. She also used to say "embozzing," but she's corrected that.

There is one person I watch, from a very prominent stamp company, who pronounces "foliage" as "folage." It drives me crazy. I didn't want to embarrass her by posting it in the comments, but I did send her an email. Her customer service rep. replied and said that she would mention it to her. I watched a video yesterday, and she pronounced it correctly once, but then reverted to her old pronunciation. I've met this person at a show, and she is the nicest, sweetest woman you'd ever want to meet. And she's super-talented. Why do these things bother me so much? I really have to work on this, I guess.

I found a YouTube channel for a lady named Nina Marie Trapani who makes really cute cards in the style I like. Watched one and she said "over top". I almost unsubscribed.

The sad part is I am reading everyone's posts and I want to go watch videos just so I can snort laugh every time I hear one of the phrases...worried what that says about me!! LOL!

I used to listen to a podcast where the host would say "oh, that's funny" but would never actually laugh at the things she found funny? Was that Noell Hyman? I dislike "adhere down". You don't need the down.

You did not loose it. You lost it. You can only lose something. You can not loose it.
Loose instead of lose just irritates me to no end & I am dyslexic!

Bringing this back because I'm going nuts right now listening to someone on YT.
"I'm going ahead and adhering this down -" "I'm gonna go ahead and -" She literally says "going ahead and -" almost every single sentence in the video I'm watching right now. She actually seems to start each sentence that way. She's the Queen of Going Ahead And.
And *everything gets "adhered down." Once she even started to say "glue this down" and she corrected herself to say "adhere this down" (presumably because she was using foam tape, not glue).
Why do so many people feel the need to use fancier words like "adhere" when it would be much more natural to say "Now I'm sticking this down to the card" ?! Or maybe they could vary between gluing, sticking, placing, popping, and all the other words you can use with -down to indicate the same basic action. Or, you know, just tell us the important stuff. I like voice overs, but I don't need the full play by play all the time.

As someone who does YouTube videos I cannot tell you how hard it is to keep track of everything once that microphone and camera are recording.
What you just did. What you just said. Thinking ahead to the next step, or the next three steps. Did I remember to say [whatever]? Oops, got that bit wrong, what did I just say, where was my mouse so I can edit it out if I start again... I think I've started every sentence with "Now...." No, I think I used "So, next..." How many times did I use "And then..." Oh good grief, the washing machine is bleeping... Arrghh the phone!
Unless I work through each project and write a precise script at the same time there's no way it's going to sound perfect. I already do each project three or four times to get the process straight, but it's really not as easy as some people make it look and sound.
Try it yourselves. Put your phone on record and do your usual crafting, explaining everything as you go along as if complete newbies are listening as well as seasoned crafters. Play it back.
We're just people, trying to share what we know and enjoy with others. We do our best.

If I was doing voice-overs I'm sure there would be lots of bleeps in my narration.

my biggest one is "sequence" for "sequins" even worse, talking of multiple sequins, they then say "sequences"
