I've gotten a few great new things lately, so thought I'd share and see what other new stuff the peas have discovered First, I got this exfoliant. The peeling gel name put me off at first - it sounded too harsh for my sensitive skin. But I read some reviews and they were all glowing, so I thought I'd give it a shot. OMG I LOVE IT. It may be the best physical exfoliant I've ever used. It's not harsh at all, but it's so effective. My skin looks radiant after using it. As I age (I'm 44), it seems like exfoliation is even more important and this does the trick. This is one of the best beauty things I've tried in a long time. I received a sample of this hair oil in my order and I am also in love with it. My hair is fine, wavy and kind of thin, so I need to be careful with oils or they will weigh my hair down. But oils are helpful to keep it hydrated and reduce frizz. This one is just perfect for my hair. I only wash my hair every two or three days and I apply this to wet hair after showering. It helps keep my hair shiny and soft and dramatically reduces frizz without ever getting greasy. I am really really happy with how it's transformed my hair. The sample lasted me almost 2 weeks (and it was small) so I'm definitely buying a bottle, even though it's pricey. A little goes a long way. On the not-good side of things, this oil cleanser from Clinique is the worst oil-based cleanser I've ever tried. It wasn't effective in removing making (and I didn't have much on), it left my skin feeling filmy, and in general, was just lousy. I bought it because it was the only travel sized oil cleanser at Sephora and I needed something for vacation. NEVER AGAIN. I only used it one day on vacation and returned it as soon as I got home. What about you? What new discoveries have you made lately?

I have been liking Josie Maran whipped facial butter. I also recently got trim healthy naturals orange facial cream and love it as well. At first I thought it was too thick. But it really makes my skin look great.
I bought a bunch of hair products last weekend but haven't had time to try most of them yet. They were all products that were talked about in YouTube videos (hot and flashy and Small Things Blog). I got Aquage uplifting foam. Used it once so far. It does seem to work the best of anything I have tried for giving me volume. I also got Alterna caviar CC cream and used it the same dAy. My hair felt like straw on the ends I'm going to try each product separately and see how it goes. The Alterna was expensive so I will probably take it back if it doesn't work for me. I hate returning products I've opened, though.
I also got Nexxus heat spray and a texture spray. Haven't used them yet. Also got a trial size of Redken No Blow Dry lotion.

Oh, I also got a konjac sponge (called Spunj on the THM website). I've used it a few times. It does a good job of exfoliating gently but it has a strong smell. I'm hoping that will go away.

I'm still addicted to every GlamGlow mask. They're pricey but damn they work. My favorite is the SuperMud and the GravityMud. Also loving the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme mask. It's like a chemical peel but without the red face for days. My skin is so smooth and fresh after using that!

I saw these under eye masks on Youtube and I ordered them. They are called Prestige BN Eye Gold Patch Ex. I love them. They feel so amazing under my eyes and they help with puffiness. I was really surprised. I would buy them again!

My eyelids are quite oily (who knew middle age brought all these unexpected treats!!) and despite trying a plethora of lid primers and different pencils, gels etc that barely lasted an hour I have finally had a breakthrough. Smashbox lid primer is worth it's weight in gold. I wouldn't say it's really 24 hour proof but it does get me through the day and that's pretty much a miracle 😀

I don't know how new they are, but I love the water-based moisturizers. They are gel-like, and I use mine at night under my retinol. In the winter I use it under my sunscreen, They really saved my skin last winter. I use Neutrogena, but there are others

Lipsense. I stopped wearing lipstick after ds was old enough to complain. I'd carry it in my purse so if I went out I could put it on, but would almost always forget. My niece started selling it so I bought a starter set and Oh My! It really doesn't come off. It depends on the shade how long it lasts though. I now have like 8 colors and several glosses. I'm wearing lipstick everyday, even to just mow the lawn. 😂

I received a few bottles of the bath and body aloe lotions for my birthday. They are so hydrating and not greasy at all.

I ordered that Egyptian Magic cream from Amazon that has been touted here several times. I found it too greasy for facial use - sort of like petroleum jelly. But I have been using it on my feet at night. I'm happy with it for that.
Thanks for the thread. I always like hearing about new products.

It's really dangerous to read this thread before I make a trip to Ulta. I have a facial scheduled for 10 am

This little buffing bar from Lush: It's called the Scrubee, and it came out as a seasonal item that was discontinued at the end of Spring. People were literally hoarding it and I even had the store call me when they got a shipment in but I was always too late! Guess there was such a demand they brought it back as a regular product now. It's like the Buffy bar, only more emollient and better smelling. The scrubby part is crushed coconut shells so it is abrasive, best for knees, elbows, etc. The base is cocoa butter, shea butter and honey and it smells divine. What I love is that it scrubs and exfoliates, but then it leaves your skin so soft and hydrated. Even though its become a regular item, the stores still have a hard time keeping it in, it sells like hotcakes, I see people buying 4, 5 at a time. Another new favorite is Serious Skincare Release Advanced Cleansing Balm And Facial Cleansing Cloth. I am a new fan of all of Jennifer Flavin's skincare line Serious Skincare and this makeup remover came in a value kit I got on HSN during a sale recently. Wow, I love this stuff. I wear full makeup (IT cc cream, eye makeup, lipstick) daily and I really enjoy using this when I get home before I hit the gym to get all that off. It smells divine, it is like a traditional cleansing cream in that its greasy, but it goes on so nice and melts everything off my face easily. It came with the perfect washcloth to get it all off with too. Just the right size, thickness. I scoop out a little cleanse my face, wipe off with the cloth and rinse. My skin isn't left greasy at all, but nicely hydrated.

Exfolikate by Kate Somerville has been my jam lately. A quick two minute facial once a week and I feel like I glow all week long. It's expensive but you use the tiniest amount so my full sized bottle will last forever.

I purchased the mascara & Primer someone mentioned here recently - Benefit They're Real. The primer is nice for a more natural every day look by itself as well as a primer for the regular mascara. It was worth the price which is more than I usually will pay for a mascara. I like the brush and it doesn't clump like my last mascara. I have thin, getting older lashes so this was important.
