That was cute and funny. But it's gotta be scripted, right? The words seemed so odd coming out of that little baby's mouth. (also, really funny thing ... when I typed "gotta," my iPad autocorrected it to gottapeanow ... I guess my a/c knows the peas well.) ha ha |

She's an adorable girl and I know her videos are popular but for some reason I can't quite be charmed by the content. I am probably just an old stick in the mud.

Yes, it's definitely scripted and she's being prompted like a few other popular little kid videos out there right now, as well. But I have to say, the expressions are spot on, and it's harder to get a kid to do that than to just copy your words.
I do agree that some of what she says are things I would tell my kids that age *not* to say if I ever heard them say it, so I cringe a bit in that regard, even though she did slay me when she complained about "frickin' Mickey" in her video about Disneyland.
It was like when your kid says something and you *know* you need to correct them, but first you need to run into the other room and laugh where they can't see or hear you doing it.

I've seen a few of these and they bother me for some reason. Reminds me of circus animals as they perform. I can respect the control the adult human has over the subject but I want to scream "blink twice if you're being tortured!" I don't know why this is different than kid actors on the big screen, but it is for some reason. |
