What are your favorite products for moisture? Treating signs of aging or sun damage on arms, chest, back? I have red hair, fair skin, and freckle easily. I wear sunscreen but still get burned or freckles easily. What can I do to counteract the effects on my skin?

I'm a big fan of Olay body wash and Olay age defying body lotion (purple labels on both)...no more dry skin since I've started using both.

I really love Whole Foods 365 Shower Gel that comes in different scents when I'm in a hurry to shower (my favorite is lavender) because it has no parabens, or artificial ingredients (and that means that the scents are 100% natural and won't trigger my migraines. If I have a little extra time to shower I like to use Dr. Bonner's soaps because they provide more moisture-although it takes a little longer to rinse them off.
For body lotion I really love Everyone Lotion that comes in a few different scents that are also made with pure essential oils and herbal extract. Again no migraines for me (if I use a product that is scented with artificial scents-almost everything else) it can trigger a migraine. But the best part of this lotion is that it immediately sinks into my skin and is very moisturizing. It's also a great bargain. Usually $9.99 at Whole Foods for a huge container of 32 oz. I even saw it on sale last week for $5.99!

I currently use Josie Maran whipped Argan butter or Shea Moisture products. I like them, but love other recommendations as well. Especially if they are specifically for aging.

Yes, the Everybody lotions and soaps are sold at a lot of different stores. I'm in Whole Foods at least once a week or more so I just pick mine up there.

I used to use Cetaphil, Eucerin, Vaseline, coconut oil, etc. and it never kept my skin dry. I used to use baby oil after the shower but I noticed my skin was getting small little bumps. I have found the best moisturizer that works for me is pretty much anything I put on right after I get out of the shower. I fought doing this for the longest because I wanted something quicker and easier than taking the time to rub a bunch a lotion in. Besides, I am six feet tall and that's a lot of territory to cover when its freezing cold outside. My dermatologist told me to try the lotion right after shower trick no matter how much I hated it. It has made a huge difference. I am using a coconut/shea lotion for after-shower use I bought at Dollar General.
