As of this afternoon, DS, DD and I all have at least one of each current legendary pokemon released. It was a nail biter for a while there-DD was missing both Lugia and Articuno and managed to get both at a couple of impromptu raids this afternoon. We have met fellow pokemon peeps through the local fb group and been having loads of fun meeting up for raids.. People of all ages in the group. I also finally got a good Lapras this afternoon. Now we wait for Ho-Oh and MewTwo. No idea about Ho-Oh but it sounds like MewTwo will be quite a challenge. On the non-legendary front, I have finally reached level 30. Only 500K xp to go for the next level.  DS is almost to level 32. Not bad since we have to go quite a ways to get to a gym and there's only one stop near us (and it's not walking distance), plus we all but quit during the winter. |

I have no legendaries. I am so ashamed, I am off tomorrow, maybe I can try to find some raids to join. Every time I see a raid near by it is always a Pokemon I have, I did see one legendary on Tuesday, but even though it was at a grocery store I was the only nerd there and I couldn't defeat him by myself.
I need to put some more effort into this apparently, when do they leave?
On a side note, my husband hatched an Ash hat wearing Pichu! I am so jealous, he looks so cute in his ginormous hat!

I joined a raid this weekend and got an Articuno but didn't have any luck with the three Lugia raids I joined. I told DH we only have so much time to get the other legendaries. I heard they leave on August 31st.
Glad you got the legendaries, gale! Good luck when mewtwo comes out. I don't have any high hopes for that one since I don't battle regularly and you will supposedly need an invitation.

We would never be able to do these level 5 (or level 4) raids without the local fb group. But beating them is the easy part. Catching the dang thing is a whole other story. LOL

I follow some local Discord boards so that's how I find raids to join. Yeah, catching them is where I fail.  |

I've only caught one zapdos myself. The rest were caught by ds. He's good at throwing the curve balls.

I should see if there's a local fb group. My son and I went out with one of his friend, but the 3 of us just didn't have enough to catch a Snorlax, let alone a legendary.
