The vintage suitcase thread reminded me of the amount of crop totes and bins I have. And storing them all takes up a lot of room. I store bags inside of bags etc. And cram everything and stack on top of my rolling tote. But wow it adds up.

I know I have a large rolling tote and several smaller tote bags that I love and don't want to part with, but I haven't been to a crop in over a year. So I do like you and try to store them as effeciently as I can.

I know!! Those things take up so much space. I have a fiskars one in our store room that is jammed with all kinds of now defunct organizational solution of the past. I should look into selling that beast since I haven't used it in years.

I got rid of my CIS Navigator before we moved, I think I maybe used it twice. It was too heavy when it was full, and it didn't seem to hold all that much anyway. I still have a smaller rolling tote from Karen Foster with a metal frame you can sit on, but I always forget that I have it so it mostly just lives in the closet. I like to keep my stuff in bins, so I recently bought a Mac folding wagon. Now I just load the bins with the stuff I need into the car, load up the folding wagon (which takes up less room in the car than a tote but carries numerous bins of stuff when unfolded) and I'm good to go.
Now on the other hand, I hoard canvas tote bags and have several boxes stuffed FULL of them! I've picked them up over the years at trade shows, retreats, etc. Even after giving away dozens of them at crops I've hosted I still have way more than I'll ever use in my lifetime, but some of them are too cute to part with. It's completely irrational. Every once in a while I'll go through the boxes thinking I can get rid of some, but noooo. Can't do it.

I love the idea of a folding wagon! I have rolling totes, and while I can lift each individual thing in the tote, the filled tote is almost too much. Thanks for the idea!

Before we moved, I also sold the Navigator. I used to have to maneuver steps with it and once loaded, it was just too heavy.
And our folding wagon we use for lots of stuff.

I have one of the folding wagons also. It holds so much, but is easy to fold (and fill). I like that I can pull a whole bin (like Thickers) from my scrap room shelf and transport it to a crop and put it away after. Little unpacking to do! Unpacking after is the worst thing about going to a crop!
I still use my rolling totes if I am going to a retreat for several days. And taking half my scrap room, :-(
I keep all my scrap totes in my attic, I have no where else to put them.

That wagon is cute! Might have to go look for one of those, but for going to the beach more than crafting. All my scrappy rolling tote things are in long term storage; I probably should get rid of them once we meet up again, because I sure haven't missed them so far. For a 3-day SB event I recently attended, I took the CIS backpack thing and my "red rolley bag" (computer/work bag). I love all those canvas tote bags too and can't part with them either. I try to use them so they don't sit all piled up and stuffed inside one another.

I have seen quite a few people using the wagon. I use an XXL a friend gave me so I can cut down on what I actually drag to a crop. I keep cardstock, adhesive and some tools in it.
I also have my Navigator - I take that to shorter crops or crops where I have to drag a bag.

We have that red wagon too. It is my scrapping wagon in the fall/spring/winter and my hubby's beer cart at the boat in the summer. I have lots of traveling storage and keep it in the crawl space. Hubby padded the floor and put some unused carpet in there so no creepy crawly things would ever think of entering.

What sold me on the folding wagon was the fact that I can leave my stuff right in the same organization bins I store my stuff in at home. I tend to forget things when I have to pack stuff up from multiple places to throw into a tote to bring it somewhere, so this works for me to just grab the whole bin for each theme I want to work on. It's also easier on my back to load and unload the smaller bins individually into the car and then into the wagon when I get to the crop vs. a heavy rolling tote full of cardstock and all the other bags of junk that didn't fit into the tote.
The cheapest places I found that stock it are Ace Hardware and Sam's Club. Those puppies are pretty expensive to ship, so you'll save about $30 by buying one locally if you can find it.

I use my Thirty-One bags so they're multifunctional. I don't have anything specific to scrapping anymore.

The Thirty-One bags are great! Even the small size bag can hold lots of stuff.

The thirty-one foldable file folders (or something like that) are perfect for 12 x 12 papers and when you aren't using them, they fold flat.

I know, right? Mine are shoved under the basement stairs and they do take up a heck of a lot of room!
