Oh my goodness - let's just pray that it goes back out to see and calms down.

I live in Central Florida and Irma is already making me nervous. I'm not panicking or anything but I will have a lot to do if Irma heads our way, especially as a category 4 or 5 hurricane, which I heard is a possibility. Obviously it is way too early to determine where this storm is heading, but I'm keeping an eye on it. I really, really hope it turns and heads back out into the ocean. papersilly I heard the same thing about this season being particularly active. I am ready for September and October to be over so I don't have to worry about hurricanes!

My local meteorologists do not believe that Irma will be a gulf coast threat. There is a front that is expected to sweep it into the northeast Atlantic.
I'm trying not to worry about the tropical moisture gathering off the Texas / Mexico border. It's supposed to bring rain Sunday through Tuesday. Something this region does not need.
