I'm hoping to get some scrapping done. My mojo has been lacking, even though I have time and photos.
I did order my August photos. So at least that is done.

i am definitely scrapping this weekend. I have a few errands to do tomorrow then it will be be lots of scrappy time. I think I'm going to work on some old vacation pics and current vacation pics. I can't wait!!

So last night I "made" myself do some scrapping. I worked on a few layouts for my son's baby album, but finished none of them.
I definitely need some kind of small embellishment. I'm think enamel dots are what I need. And I'm going to punch out little stars, but I couldn't last night because it was midnight and it makes too much noise to do it.
ETA: okay, so was right digging in my stash and found star confetti in many colors & 2 sizes. It feels like a good embellishment that doesn't feel feminine. (For whatever reason, sequins just seem too feminine to me right now. Of course I have a pound of them in my stash.)

We're moving DD back to college tomorrow, so today is packing day, and Monday will be a get organized day. But next weekend I'll be heading to a day crop. It'll be great to finally be scrapping again. Have a great time scrapping away this weekend, Peas!

So far I've done two layouts for sophomore year in the 8x8 high school album - I've already discovered that I'm missing photos so I'll need to pull together an order to print

Ran to Jo Ann's this morning to use my 25% off coupon on my favorite card stock Bazzill Smooth Coconut Swirl. 10 for $2 and then the coupon. I picked up all that they had- 50 pieces. Never done that before.
I will spend time kitting for a retreat and finishing up a layout. It's super hot here in So Cal and a great time to stay in the AC.

I ran to Joanns yesterday and picked up tons of the Bazzill dotted swiss cardstock in all the colors they had 10 for 2.00 and then 25% off. I was almost all our of colored cardstock since I don't use it often. I also returned something so I walked out only spending like 12 bucks or something for tons of cardstock and a double deep artbin. I was pretty excited.
Last night I had time to scrap but NO MOJO! I looked at the page with the photo for over 2 hours and NOTHING! NADA! ZILCH! I was so frustrated! I just had to walk away. It has been a long while since that happened to me!
This morning I woke up to a rainy day in MD. I was treated to pancakes made by 9 y/o DD and then down my scrap space I went. I have gotten ONE page done LOL! But I have also unpacked some things, reorganized and love the one page I got done!

I should have some time this weekend but really am lacking the motivation. I really need to straighten out my scrap room as once again it has become the dumping ground for all things homeless.

Cute page: love all the stars and monsters and those hearts in the title. No scrapping for me today. Got working on cleaning out the cold room in the basement to ready it for veggies in the next few weeks, and the mess in there exploded to the whole end of the basement. I have had absolutely no mojo for a while now. I have played with some dies and punches and a few stamps but nothing for a scrapbook page just generic playing. I wanted to see if dies would cut through cork and Cricut faux leather. It worked and I love the look. Also playing with TH Halloween stamps . I need to figure out how to color them so I have also been playing with markers. I have tons of supplies but nothing is really calling my name right now. I keep looking through photos but I'm just not feeling inspired to scrap  . It has been a couple of months now and I really hope that changes soon. |

I have been playing with my stamping, mixed media and now foiling supplies hoping I will get inspired to scrap. I've made a few cards, but that's all. I did clean up my work space though. I added embellishment to 13 layouts for my son's baby album this morning, and am happy calling those pages finished.
I started another 4 layouts, choosing the paper to go with the photos.
I'm hoping to keep going this morning. My mojo isn't back in full force, but I'm still adding a touch here and there to pages, so I'm calling it good.
I feel like my mojo only comes back when my schedule is absolutely booked and I can't get to my scrap area for even five minutes. Then I have all the creative juices flowing and nothing to do with it.

Y'all enjoy your scrappy Labor Day weekend! My two nieces flew in from CA yesterday so I probably won't have any scrappy time. I will be taking pictures, though!!

 Still doing some gc pages and got off an order for some old pics I wanted to "redo". Dh and I scanned them and tried to make them less faded and old looking. Those poor old film prints that we had printed at the drugstore in the 70s haven't done well. That's Dorothy and John Travolta....they are very into costumes and have a lot of events that call for one in their communitiy. |

Sounds like you are on a roll, LavenderLayoutLady ! I love your project, @elaynef, and that you are getting it DONE!!! Tfs your pages. pas2 and Scrapper100 , I hope you can get back into scrapping. At least you are playing with your toys, and who knows where that may lead? Stamped and mixed media creations and interesting die cuts could easily morph into embellishments for a sb page or the focal for a card front, or who know what else... One thing I have learned about mojo is I can't force it. I can get some scrappy projects done, but if I am not feeling the joy, then I am never really happy with the results. But then again, sometimes just going through the motions will trick Mojo into sneaking back into the room... |

I hope everyones mojo comes back soon! I put up the kit/bash stash challenge yesterday if you just want to put something together for later! I had so much fun doing this one. I played for the first time in ages with some mixed media. I also realized I am not patient and had to get the heat gun out. I smooshed, sprinkled and stamped. I used some modeling paste through a stencil and even dug into my massive stash of nuvo drops. Another BIG title with some Tuesday morning doodlebug letters and WASHI to go with a challenge here. I like it, at first I was not happy with all the black but I like it now.  |
