In an effort to save money, I'm trailing Hulu, to eventually get rid of cable. The 2 things I like to watch but am struggling to find is Dateline on ID and Watch What Happens Live on Bravo. I tried the Bravo and Discovery ID apps but an error comes up when trying to log in to my tv provider (Hulu). I'm ASSUMING it's because I'm still in the free trial of if....does anyone know anything about that?
I think the biggest thing is instead of scrolling through the guide of what's on, you now search for specific things you want to watch. It's different. I'm assuming this mid set gets easier?
I'm trialing the 7.99/month one.

I don't think those apps will let you sign in with Hulu.
I don't watch those shows, but there was something I wanted to watch on A&E and I couldn't unlock it in the app without a cable provider.

Decided to try out Sling TV. Seems to be a better fit with what I watch. Anyone used Sling?

I have Hulu Live and some apps accept that as a log in. Right now, Hulu Live can only be streamed from tablets and phones and through some apps. They will be adding desktops and smart tvs at some point in the (hopefully) near future

Yeah you have to have the Hulu live package which is $39.99 a month to access those channels online benefits. Jen

Ok the message I received when trying to log on was, "you don't have access to live tv yet, please start free trail first."

It seems like a small thing but the TV in my office died and I like to have something on in the background. Yay!

Ok the message I received when trying to log on was, "you don't have access to live tv yet, please start free trail first." Yes! That's what I got too...now that you wrote it out. I remember thinking 'well I am trialing it' so wondered once the trial was over, would it work. Hmm

Hmm Yeah their asking you to start a free trial of Hulu's "live tv" plan. 😩 I wish hulu's $7.99 plan gave me access to Bravo's app and MTV online too. My guilty pleasures are Real housewives, Teen Mom & Catfish I haven't found any cheap plan that allows me to watch them. Jen
