I have noticed before and last night that Florida State takes injured players into a tent. Do other teams do this? No, they don't. But, they were playing in an NFL Stadium last night, not in a college stadium. So, it was a different set-up.

I have seen FSU use the tent before, just have never noticed any other team doing that. I haven't seen other teams use one either. I actually liked it last night. Usually the personnel have to surround the injured player to keep cameras from recording what is going on. It frees up personnel to focus on the on-going game, and it also allows watching fans to get to watch the game without cutting to cameras trying to get a glimpse at the injured player.

Alabama has been using one for a couple of years. Gives a privacy while being evaluated. No need for everyone to see a guy in pain or to be examined in certain areas.

This is the third year we have used the medical tent. I appreciate that it gives the players a bit of privacy while being evaluated.

just seems so secretive or something, but I see the need. Florida State stated using the tent when one of our RBs kept getting a hamstring injury. He had to take off his pants and the cameras were all up in his business all the time so it was put up for privacy. The trainers actually had a bunch of towels to block the training table, but by the end of the season, we had the tent.
