How tragic. Don Williams died today also. It was announced yesterday that JoDee Messiena has cancer. Rough few days in country music.

I just saw that on FB  I'm so sad for his family, friends and country music. I saw them play a couple years ago and was looking forward to seeing them again. RIP Troy and the two others killed in the crash. And RIP Don Williams. Healing prayers being sent for JoDee Messina. Another wonderful country act that I've seen a few times and really enjoy. |

How horrible! I recall Eddie Montgomery's (the other half of Montgomery Gentry) son passing away from an OD about two years ago. So sad for everyone involved.
edited: originally I left out the word son...but I have since added it in.

I really love Don Williams and will still regularly play my old cds of his. So that makes me sad too.

I'm so sad I missed seeing them at our little local place that they played every summer.
My thoughts are with his friends and family as they navigate through this tragic journey.
