I have an older friend I would love to surprise with a win in a contest. She has entered a picture of her rescue dog to try and get a gift card to a grooming service. She is widowed and on a very limited income due to her health, so this would be a blessing and encouragement to her! She took in this dog to also help with her loneliness. Seeing a lot of LIKES on her photos would really make her day! That is so sweet. I love how she described Chance in the yard when she brought him home. I'd love to give her a gift card for Chance to be groomed if she doesn't win the contest!

Awe...you are too kind! I'll keep you posted. She is a mom of someone I went to school with over 20 years ago and she is the kindest woman. She has really had a tough time since she lost her husband to cancer. She is super sweet and friendly, but her illness leaves her isolated and at home most of the time. I know she will be touched to get so many likes on her photo. Facebook has become her connection to people. I wish I lived near her! |
