I wish, I had skipped as planned (bloom was my least favorite theme of these last story kits, because I have two black thumbs with plants😂) but with the felt flowers and puffy stickers addon, I thought maybe its a little more muted colors - but man, what a weird color combo. I hate those seventies vibe, that brown, pink and green shade together is plain ugly. I really don‘t know how to use it. Really shocked to see the reveal. Thankfully I skipped the stamp, because I want to save my bucks on the upcoming WITL kit.

Wow, baby, no.
I can't figure out whether AE is tweaking her aesthetic a little further away from what it used to be each month or whether my tastes have changed so drastically that I find it hard to believe I ever subbed.

I’ll be the odd man out. This kit? This one I actually love. These kinds of colors are just what I go for.

Me too @julie5 I'm happy I re-subbed! It's funny because I was working on my PL yesterday and going through my stash of cards the ones that I reached for most were the AE story kit cards, old Gossamer Blue cards then SC cards. I rarely grab for KPs cards (always have to trim those to fit in pockets and there were more of hers that I just put in the give away pile)

I love a good avocado green or goldenrod yellow, but the colors as mixed in this kit don’t work for me. The pink looks anemic in this context instead of soft. That orangy coral is jarring. The brown brings everything down. I love a good theme, but this one is both on the nose and way off at the same time.

I will give AE credit for trying to mix it up a bit, but this kit does not fit my personal aesthetic at all. I'm glad there are some people who enjoy it though.
I am so glad I got the Connect story kit last month so I was able to skip this month. I'm one Story kit away from being able to cancel my sub, which I plan on doing because I realized I don't scrap by theme and they have been very hit-or-miss for me and I would rather save some of my scrappy budget.

it's been a couple months since it was released but the survey code from january (THANKS2021) for 20% off is still good until next monday, the 15th! in case anyone has stuff sitting in their cart Thank you!!! I might use it to purchase the new “hybrid all year” class and the 2017 digital kit that goes with it. Is anyone else signing up?

I wish I would’ve skipped bloom. But at least the designs are single-sided so I can use the blank B-sides for stamping

Wow, that kit is quite something. Matches Taylor Swifts Grammy dress to a T! I don’t mind it, but prefer my kits to flow a bit more cohesively from Month to month. This isn’t a sub I miss.
After selling all of my previously purchased Day In The Life Kits because it wasn’t a project I could get on board with, I actually did DITL last week. Used a digital kit and loved it. Go figure.

I just want to put this out there: I am tired of funky flowers! Why do they always have to be “funky”?? These flowers in the kit are not pretty at all. The colors and shapes are awful!

Used it to get the Bloom digital kit with my sub. Made it a little over $8. I really wish she would just include the digital kit for those that sub to the physical story kit

Count me as another odd person out who likes the kit. I’m on the fence about the large flower die cuts, but I really like the rest.

The first thing I did when I saw this kit was head straight to my account to see if I could skip it. 🤦🏻♀️
That said, I’ve watched Ali’s first two project videos for this kit and like what she did with it.

I saw a WITL sneak on the AEdesigninc iG today. Has anyone said in the Facebook group when the reveal will be?

It looks promising! I took a chance and ordered my 6x8 album for WITL from sb.com. I didn't want to take a chance on hers and the prices of her albums jumped significantly. I got a super cute b&w stripe for $16.99 on sale and by the looks of the sneak the black and white will match nicely.

Wow, it looks good! But I have the last two WITL left not finished. I don't know... I convinced myself that I wasn't even going to look. That I wasn't going to do it, after 7 years. (However, I made my first layout in over a year, and I have another planned and paper painted...)

I won't be buying anything. I am yet to receive my Feb SBTM and Action story kit, sent out mid-January; my DITL kit and March SBTM sent out in February. The shipping delays right now are simply ridiculous. I have completely lost the desire to do project life as I don't get the kits in a reasonable timeframe.

I have finished up 95% of my DITL this year! I think I was successful in making kind of foundation pages based on my photos. I used sticky notes to note what pic would go where. When my order from Persnickety Prints showed up, it was so fun to slide pics in to page protectors and be practically done! I also had placed embellishments in the pockets that I thought I might use-so by limiting the number, it made it easier to decide. I just have some journaling to add-which I had saved in a Word document to the pages.
I am thinking about purchasing the physical kit for WITL this year. I do have last year's digital, which is what I used. I did also just buy the digital WITL Layered 6X8 Template, which is on sale to the end of the month. I should play with that first before the 21 Kit is available and tempting me.

I like several items in that but I have no use for a complete kit. Whether or not I buy will depend on if what I want is available separately

I'm so excited for WITL this year, hands down my favorite project of the year. Love it even more than December Daily, I usually get bye with a mini kit, album and million dollar chipboard bundle. In past years that has been plenty to complete a large, full albums.

I do like the looks of the weather stamp - I’m sure it will sell out quickly, although they are usually able to restock stamps. I’d love it if IACB came out with some new digitals that worked for WITL - I really gravitate toward her designs right now. I doubt i will get Ali’s kit, but we’ll see what it has and the price. I’m still leery of her albums given the QC issues.

I'll probably get the kit without the album. I've already planned ahead a bit and ordered a 6x8 from sb.com I haven't come across any other type of kit that would fit a WITL project and right now I don't feel like printing out digitals. I'd love to find another kit offering someplace but until then it's probably AE.
