Now that I've posted pics of my partially finished room, what colors should I use for accents? I was looking at close up photos of plumeria flowers of all different colors on Pinterest. I never knew they came in so many different colors. I think I'm gearing this room to have a beach/ tropical look. The beach is my happy place.

Sandy tones, for sure. Light golden beiges and a not too dark peach would bring in the softness of the beach. Since you went for a rather bright Tiffany blue hue, I'd actually not use bright colours as accents but rather warmer muted tones like the ones in the picture below. I wouldn't want the entire room to overwhelm me when I'm working on projects with colours. There are some beautiful items that incorporate such colours through materials like thick rope or floating wood. That ought to help give the room a more nature-filled vibe without breaking the colour harmony.

Well, if you decide to go full tropical... there is an eight foot metal flamingo at TJ Max available in Colorado Springs! I did laugh out loud when I saw him. Yeah, try to sell that sucker in a land locked state.

You could accent with navy and pink and go with beachy/nautical theme. Wall color looks great! Good luck - you're in the home stretch!
