My Mum popped in yesterday, sporting her new knitted cardigan, and looking fabulous for 3 months off 80 years old. She is my greatest supporter, loves my cards, photo books etc. I always thought she bought my cards to send to people, but I learned she sticks them to her fridge or freezer because she doesn't want to part with them She loves my videos but she can't listen to the voice-over. She loved my speeded up Silhouette Studio channel trailer and so I decided to use the two photos I took of her yesterday - and scrap a page she can put on her fridge door. So, here's 40mins 47 secs distilled to about 5 1/2 mins of a digital page coming to life. No photo editing - she looked good enough without any enhancing. Her name is Winnie, she is fabulous and this is my way of saying thanks Mum, you're bloomin' marvellous

Love her! My sister and great grandmother are named Winnie. My aunt took the name as an adult so now she is Winifred but I still call her by the name she always had before.

1. I have never seen anyone digi-scrap. It looks like work to me, instead of fun. I am all about the paper. In my hands. Thanks for showing that. 2. Winnie is a fabulous name! 3. You mum IS marvelous!!! Look at her happy smile! When my mom passed away I discovered a storage envelope with all the cards I had made for her over the years. Some I don't even remember making. It is precious to me, because the cards were precious to her. I miss my mom.

It is precious to me, because the cards were precious to her. I miss my mom. Conversely, moving all those paper bits and embellishments around is hard work to me. I can't imagine it being relaxing at all, and I'm sure that's because to use my hands I have to use everything from my upper chest, shoulders and even stomach muscles. Really, I should be thin with all the exercise I get moving my arms... I know it is relaxing for all you able-handed chaps; I just can't imagine it at all. Whereas I can move bits around on a screen forever, and just get cramp! Mum's name is Winifred Ann, and never Win, heaven forbid I'm sorry your Mum isn't with you any longer. I know I am lucky to still have mine and she is indeed cheerful. This was a good day; she has some health issues and some days are a struggle. I know she'd give you a hug if she met you
