This may be a long shot, but I'm looking for a source to buy larger quantities of 20mm acrylic or resin "bubblegum beads" in bright colors, polka dots, stripes, rhinestones, and sparkly. The cute little necklaces you can make with them are selling like hot cakes on etsy and I'd like to make some for an upcoming fundraiser, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding them. Loads of etsy and ebay sellers have them priced per small bag, but how do I find a supplier/wholesale place to get something like this in quantities of 100 per color? Where do etsy sellers buy this kind of stuff , only to break down the quantity and resell? I see a place online called aliexpress in China, but their shipping takes a month, and their reviews aren't that favorably consistent. Any ideas?

Have you asked around to see if you have any local bead stores?
Hobby Lobby, Js, etc sadly don't carry the bubble gum style beads, but I know here there is a row of import bead shops that sell the bubble gum beads for only a dollar or two a strand (and have huge large qty bags available as well). And they do wholesale of you have the correct license.
Anyway, I guess my advice is ask around in person and on FB to see if there's anything local.

I've bought from Sunflower Shoppe (linked above) as well and give it a thumbs up.
My local shops are even cheaper than that, though.
