I heard her singing on a commercial the other day. I realized every time I hear her sing, I shudder a little inside. To me, I hear this nasal sound when she sings. She just doesn't do it for me.
What singer's voice can you not stand?

Sheryl Crow, Anthony Kiedis. Anthony Kiedis irritates me more because it seems like he's always shirtless.

Barbra Streisand And I'm blanking on her name but she sings the frozen song let it go and was in wicked.
They're great singers but I feel like they sing nasally, which irritates me for some reason.

Michael McDonald.... I think that is the guy.... the one playing nonstop in the electronics store in 40 year old virgin! I can totally relate when he goes off about having to listen to that all day everyday.

the singer for the band AC/DC... his voice just GRATES on my last nerve, and I have to switch the station whenever I hear an AC/DC song come on the radio.
Also the lead singer for Megadeth, Dave Mustaine... his voice is also like nails on a chalkboard to me, but not as bad as AC/DC.

I, too cannot stand Cher's singing voice. However, she's a great actress.

For me it's a band. Rush I can't turn the channel fast enough when they come on ^^ I like some Rush stuff, but stations always seem to play the SAME 3 or 4 songs! They have 40 years to choose from yet they always play the same songs... I don't understand it. The singer's voice is very unique, that's for sure. ETA: I don't like Jethro Tull, either- but for them, it's something about the flute playing that grates on my nerves. I can't explain what it is; I like the flute if it's part of an orchestra, but something about the *blowing* sound of a flute playing bothers me. I also don't like the squeaking sound of someone's fingers on guitar strings-- like you sometimes hear in classical guitar music. I can't listen to that noise at all.
