Pumpkin Kringle is in the house! Have been stalking Trader Joe's for their next Kringle delivery and it's finally here! Can't wait to try this flavor.

I already bought 5 of them. :-O I don't remember them being so expensive, though! I think I paid almost $9 each...

Cracks me up that in pealand it (Kringle) is a TJ thing. In South central Wisconsin I can get them at the mom and pop store in the suburbs.

To have it shipped is so expensive, so we pick up some at TJ's and it comes from a Wisconsin bakery. When we visit he usually picks up a couple especially since his favorite is never sold at TJ's.

I may have to do this.

I grew up in the SE corner of Wisconsin, and was thrilled that Aldi is carrying Kringle made in Racine. I paid less at Aldi in Missouri than I did a Meijer when I was home in July.

I resisted. I love all things pumpkin, but it didn't sound good to me on that particular day. I may change my mind.

I make my own at Christmas. ;-) Erin It's funny while I bake everything else by scratch I just never thought about making kringle. Do you use a recipe from online that you recommend? I may have to do this. The recipe we use is slightly different. It is still called a Kringle, but, it is not filled. It is basically a pastry crust, topped with an almond flavored pate a choux, baked, and drizzled with almond frosting and toasted almonds. Sooo good! We don't really use a tight recipe, but, I can post it, if you like. Erin This is basically the recipe we use allrecipes.com/recipe/24283/swedish-kringles/

Is this a frozen item or in the baked goods section? It is usually by itself - end display. It is fresh. In white wax paper bags. Laying flat - about 14” x 14” square.
