I researched cbd oil a lot but was at first hesitant to buy it until I knew for sure there was none of the marijuana in it. I'm a RN and never done drugs. Anyway I signed up as an affiliate to sell some thru hemp worx. I haven't sold any but I will say it has helped my pain. I have severe degenerative disk disease in my entire spine. Have had 3 vertebra removed from my neck and a fusion done and the dr is waiting for me to say I'm ready for a lumbar fusion. It has worked, I love the company for its purity and its testing. The only part is the cost. Does anyone have any that they use that is as good quality as hempworx but is less expensive? any testimonies or reviews from anyone on how the cbd has helped them?

It is illegal in my state. And, my Neurologist would quit treating me if it was discovered that I was using it.
That means I am stuck taking Lyrica which is doing who knows what to my body and fighting every day for as normal a life as possible. I am also considering changing my major to a nursing degree due to circumstances.
I wish I had the chance to try it and see what it would do for me. No interest in a high. Just the pain relief.
It is good to hear it is working for you.

Our dog has arthritis in his hips. Some days he could hardly walk. DH found a CBD oil for dogs, not sure how it differs from human, but we’ve been trying it and he’s been excited to go on “walkies” again. I will admit I was hesitant as I’ve never smoked pot and wasn’t sure this was the right thing to do, but now I’m sold on the oils to help with pain.

I've been using charlotte's web capsules but they're expensive too. I tried to look at hempworx to compare but I guess I have to register to see prices and I'm not doing that. I've found that the charlotte's web is slightly cheaper (plus an ebates rebate is available) at lucky vitamin.

The hempworx is legal in all 50'states cause it has the pure cbd oil and none of the THC which is the marijuana plant. Also is 3rd party tested, pure oil no fillers and grown in the US. My only concern is the price and just wondered if I could find any comparable that was less expensive...
It does work though and I don't have to take my pain pills near as often and I sleep better.

I will have to look into it again, regarding the legality in my area. I know the state over, 4 miles by road, much less by the crow flies, it is legal. Still have the issue with the Neurologist. The Lyrica changed my life. The good outweighs the bad. Shortened life expectancy vs long term existence. Existence isn’t fun. Thank you for the information!

I have CBD pills in front of me. They are capsules and they are 20 mg. They have CBD isolate and coconut oil in them. I am not sure if they work or how they work really. You don't get a buzz off them, but I have a headache right now and I will see how I do taking one.

My DD has started taking CBD oil, and it makes a real tangible difference to her pain levels. However, as you say, it is expensive, and she tends only to use it on bad pain days. On the worst days, she will smoke a joint, and has found that it halves her pain, and lets her open her hands, which otherwise are permanently curled. She has experimented with amounts so that she gets maximum relief with minimum high, as she doesn't like being high. Unfortunately, medical marijuana is still illegal in the UK, so procuring it can be an issue,

I'm very interested in it. I have post-stroke neuropathy pain on the top of my foot on the affected side, and sometimes it's nearly unbearable. At worst, it feels like someone splashed boiling water from a kettle across the top of my foot. I'm allergic to Lyrica/Gabapentin, so I need an alternative means of controlling the pain.
So many of the people in my stroke support group are getting very good results from CBD oil that I want to try it too.

I've been discussing this with my Pain Management doctor for a while. I'm EXTREMELY interested (coming from someone who has NEVER smoked pot or ever did street drugs--or even smoked a cigarette!). Right now I'm on Fioricet (6/day) + Maxalt (10 mg) for a rescue Rx for headpain (long story). My pain will never go away; it's chronic and getting worse. I did get to try Botox injections and they worked, almost immediately!!! I later found out that Medicare left me with a $240 copayment. I couldn't do it, and now I owe my Pain team. Sucks! I'd rather do Botox than daily opioids! I seriously think that Medicare and insurance companies WANT you to be taking lots of Rx's. As an RN, do you know anything about the CBD oil?? I read somewhere that there are different parts of the plant that the oil comes from, for differing medical situations. I wouldn't know where to begin, but I think that I could benefit from the oil. I'll be following this thread, and I hope that this continues to help you!!! (BTW, is it legal where you are? And have you tried to get a MM card for it??)

Just an FYI. I mentioned earlier that Lucky Vitamin has the CW hemp cheaper. Now for today only, it's 12% back at ebates plus there's a $5 off coupon code (also at ebates) for new customers. I just got a bottle that's normally $119 for $97 (autoship price) before the 12% back.

I hope you aren't all disappointed with the CBC oil Holy Grail. I am waiting for great effects with it and so far I am not getting any. You should at least try it out for yourselves. Maybe my dose isn't strong enough to affect me? I get better results from indica (THC) than CBD.
Tomorrow afternoon the province will be coming out with new guidelines on how they will be sold in the coming year. I am interested to hear what they say.

My mother was seriously injured (we are lucky she's alive) 4 years ago in a car accident. She broker her spine in 3 places, and we were being prepared for her being a quadraplegic because of where she broke it. She isn't. She was in the hospital for months and has some residual brain damage. It was bad.
She now has chronic pain. I don't know the proper words, but there is no lining between several of her vertebrae and they scrape together causing her tremendous pain. There are other issues causing this chronic pain as well. She was no longer very mobile. Since her accident, she takes 12 T3 per day, just to be able to cope with the pain. She has refused oxy and other medication like that. She also takes nerve pain meds (used to be gabapentin anymore, but was changed to something else - can't remember).
She finally agreed to try medical marijuana. It's legal here, and she has a prescription for it. She uses the CBD oil under her tongue, which doesn't get her high, as it has only the teeniest bit of THC in it.
In 2 months, she is now completely OFF the T3 and has cut the nerve pain meds in half. This week, she'll cut out more of the nerve pain meds.
She resisted trying this because of the stigma. And she's in her late 70s. But she wishes so much she had tried sooner. She has so much better quality of life now because she no longer has the pain.
I tell you - taking this oil HAS to be better for a person than taking 12 Tylenol 3 with codeine plus the other nerve pain meds every day. For my mother, it's a miracle.
ETA: It's actually less than 2 months she's been using the CBC oil. She gradually went off the T3 - not all at once.
ETA: She has chronic pain from other issues besides her accident as well, including neuropathy. In years past, she was on other very strong narcotic meds besides oxy (which she only took once and it scared the hell out of her). She put up with pain and just too T3 because the way the other ones made her feel scared her. It was a choice she made, to use T3 instead of the stronger narcotic medications and put up with some pain. But the CBD oil has now taken away ALL the pain.
