My dog and cat have fleas in spite of my use of PetArmor. I have been vacuuming scrupulously, but I feel like I should do more. Any suggestions?

flea comb - comb, check for fleas each time, dunk any you find in lysol to kill them, comb some more...repeat until you don't find any more fleas. Repeat again daily for as long as needed.
also wash their bedding and change out the vacuum cleaner bag/filter

When did you last use it? I know with Frontline it's ok to reapply early, I feel like vet said they could get every 3 weeks.
I've used Frontline for years now without any problems. I've seen one flea in 6 years! I'd definitely consider switching brands for one. And like Linda said, wash/vacuum and don't overlook things like changing the bag if you have one.

I work at a vet clinic in Georgia. We have found that Frontline Plus and other topical flea products are no longer effective. I use Nexgard, a chewable flea and tick preventative and have been very happy with it.

We started to have our yard sprayed for fleas and spiders. I just had to give my dog a flea tablet this weekend. It had been since last November. I think it's because the dogs behind us are probable not treated. I am due for yard spraying again (every 6 months). I was telling dh tonight that I would rather spray the yard than give the dogs medication.

We kept animals in and DH sprayed an insecticide on lawn. After that we also got cedar chips and used them as a mulch in all flower beds, under deck etc. We comb the cat daily. It is awful trying to break the cycle of fleas.
