I signed up this morning right after reading the thread. I had 4 Walmart receipts in the past 7 days totaling 220.00. I signed up on line rather than on my cell phone.

They are testing it in Atlanta area too. Since I started in March, I've saved $85.00. Good way to save for some Christmas gifts.

I am not a frequent Walmart shopper, but I have used it for the few times I have been over the last few months. I have a few dollars waiting for me. What I love most about it is that I have a digital copy of my receipts scanned into the app, so I don't have to worry about keeping up with receipts. That is very convenient.

I don't shop there often, but just did a big purchase this weekend. What is the best way to use your PC for this? I don't want it on my devices. Just go the website and enter receipt? I'm going to do this. Thanks!

Yes just go to the website and if you don't have an account you have to create one and then enter the receipt number. I just did one it was really easy.

I signed up but I can't imagine I buy anything that would be cheaper elsewhere. I bought some Revlon Colorstay Fdn at CVS the other day for $14.99 then noticed it at Walmart for $9.99.![](http://66.147.244.171/~thecoll6/ce2/images/icons/woe.gif)

I most definitely do not have time for that. Thankfully, I also don't shop at Walmart.

I have been scanning my receipts this weekend. Takes about 10 seconds or less per receipt. Even though I live out in the sticks it's scanning 31 different stores so apparently it includes stores that are further away.

there is a place in the ap where you can register for eReceipts, enter cell [HASH] then no scaannin/entering receipts. At check out, with that number they will send eReceipt to you and submit in to SavingsCatcher.
Don't know how much will get back, but with such little effort, why not?

I would hope it saves time for those that take the weekly ads with them to the store so Walmart can pricematch at the register, etc.

I just started this 2 weeks ago. I'm up to $2.69 so far. I will be saving up mine for Christmas. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

The title clearly states what it's about and since you don't shop at Walmart, why would you bother to read it? And was it really necessary to tell 20+ women that not only is your time more valuable than ours, but that you disapprove of where we shop? Is it that much fun to be mean? Really?

I saw this on tv. They showed them using their phone. Is there a way to do this on Walmart.com? I don't have a smart phone so it won't work for me on my phone I don't think. I'm in your boat too. No smart phone. Just an old stupid phone.

Just entered a receipt. We will see what happens. Lots of things are not included. But it cannot hurt, right?

how long does it take to see the amount? I know it says 72 hours, but is that about the time frame?

how long does it take to see the amount? I know it says 72 hours, but is that about the time frame? My first one took less than 24 hours. I've since entered 2 more so we'll see how long those take. It might depend on the length of the receipt. Mine are all for just a few items so far.

Thankfully I DO shop at our Walmart which is a pretty good store. I save lots of money during the year. Could I afford to buy the things I save money on elsewhere. Yeah. But why throw money out the window. JMHO of course.

I've been doing it since April and have almost $40 on my e-gift card. I also price match and coupon, so this catches what I missed or didn't know about. I still do the price matching since I'd prefer to keep the money to begin with, but I really like the savings catcher and it's super easy.

You posted exactly what I was going to say. Dani, whether you meant it to or not, your post came off very condescending. We can't all be as enlightened and engrossed in such important things as you. Some of us lowly people make an occasional Walmart run. Some of us make a Walmart trip a few times a week. You may find this hard to believe, but there are actually people who live in towns that Walmart is all they have. Imagine that!! ETA: in the time it took you to tell us you don't have time for that, you could have uploaded your first receipt...if you shopped there of course ![](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
