For me, August is trying to wind down summer. I want summer type colors and then BLAST MY FACE OFF with the autumn colors come September. /shrug I really like the stamp set though. If anyone else is still a subscriber and wants to ditch their stamp set, I'd be happy to purchase it. The TN book one or the main one? I'd sell my TN one this month for sure.

Not just you, I’m not a fan of Life, Love, Paper’s aesthetic either. Me either - not a fan of her designs at all. It looks very, sloppy and unappealing to me.

The breakfast one...I saw it confirmed in the Instagram comments. Ugh. I totally would have skipped had there actually been sneaks then. I don’t document enough breakfast/brunch pics to need or want this stamp. I have plenty of food themed KP stamps. Maybe it’s worth reaching out and stating that due to late sneaks you weren’t able to make an informed decision and would like to skip. And then see what happens.

seemownay Several people in this thread have tried that and not been very happy with the response, unfortunately. It would make so much sense to be able to skip after seeing the sneaks.

Just going to leave it here but the clothing ("Wearing") stamp set LLP designed for KP earlier this year and that sold out a few times made it to AliExpress... I came across it very randomly and couldn't believe my eyes. Dayum, the Chinese have their finger on the pulse of what's hot (and sometimes also what's not, let's be honest).

I feel bad for KP. Based on comments here and that the kits haven't been selling out, I don't think the buyers from SC that used to buy up LLPs products have transfered over to KP. I'm a big LLP fan but the kits/stamps have to provide something I don't have already in my stash and that's becoming difficult to do. Like I really like her USA mini kit but I have the USA cards from SC that were on sale eons ago, so I don't need the kit from KP..... I like the stamp for the National Forest, but there are not enough images on there that I don't already have and most of which I can create for myself. I'm on the fence whether I will buy that or not tomorrow... I love LLP, but I suspect- much like my opinion on KP herself- that she would benefit from working w/ a strong artistic director who would veto *yet another* stamp set featuring some permutation of a disembodied hand (I count *4* of those, currently available on the KP website) or to suggest that a flower shop stamp is possibly not on the ideal scale for a TN notebook kit. (I was tempted by the flowers, but do not forsee myself using a storefront stamp often enough to warrant purchasing a kit.) My impression, in general, is that Tina Aszmus/LLP is more of an *illustrator*, & she sometimes approachs stamp sets from the perspective of building an illustrated scene, rather than thinking in terms of building a set of accent images that would compliment a scrapbook layout or PL spread. Combined w/ KP’s tendency to be uber-sentiment-stamp-heavy, the collab seems to have made for some really hit-or-miss kits ( the “Tina’s Currents” TN kit was wonderful, IMO but the May “Hold On” amputated-hand-stravaganza is flummoxing, & leaves me wondering why the stamp design was not immediately rejected). I have the “friyay” & the”best coast” sets in my cart right now, but I vascillate back & forth on the question of “Do I *really* want more sentiment stamps, in light of the eleventy-googillion I already have?” However, the waffling over sentiment stamps seems to be more particular to me, as there seems to be an insatiable desire for them from much of the scrapbooking market.

I love that font, reminds me of the ocean OA alphabet font, but her Y is cuter.

surprisingly, I am loving a lot in this shop release and I thought it would be a miss for me. Did any main kit subscribers get an email with all the cards in the main kit? I’d love to see what they look like as I actually like that kit this month more than my TN kit. I’m Excited that the “Highline” stamp is returning and I’ll definitely get the Jenkins stamp [it will sell out], and the festival stamp set. I kind of want everything this release, it was my birthday 🤣🤦🏾♀️

Same for those who don't like the handwriitng on LLP stamps. It's so sloppy. I'm glad Kelly has been using her stuff a lot lately so I don't buy it!
I am subbed to the main kit til November and I'l cancel in December so I get the sub discount for the December Daily kit then I'll be done.
I picked the camping set this morning. I'll use that quite a bit since my husband and I are working on visiting all the National Parks.

It's a nice release this month. I like it. I wish the breakfast/food-related items were more embracing of today's diets, especially coming from someone's Kelly's age + alternative lifestyle. Having another option for vegetarians would be nice. Bacon is also extremely North American-centric. Oh well. Her shipping costs for internationals are through the roof though. I got a $25 quote for three items. Not happening.

I didn’t like all of the breakfast phrases for the stamp set, so I bought the digital to get some of the cards. However, I went stamp set crazy which hasn’t happened in awhile as I was on a stamp feeeze—I have too many! Surprisingly, I didn’t buy anything from Ali’s last 2-3 releases just my kit subscriptions. I am thinking of renewing my TN subscription as it ends this month or switching to a main kit, just to use the 15% for Kelly’s holiday release, I have a feeling Jamaica will return with another great kit. I see that both kits sold out today, books + breakfast seems to be a winning combo!

This was my main reason for not canceling my TN sub early. The cards from that Jamaica were my favorite PL cards I've ever bought. It seems like her shop has grown a lot in the past year (despite a lot of complaints on here about absurdly shitty CS) and I have a feeling the holiday releases will be amazing.

Yeah I was surprised about that because usually her kits are good about being broad enough for everyone, but between vegetarians, vegans, muslims, jews and people who watch calories there's a lot of us who do not eat bacon even in North America. I'm not offended by it or anything but I think it's just an assumption that the love is universal.

Yes, I wish Jamaica had at least quarterly collections, I just love everything she designs. I haven’t loved an entire kit so much, since Paislee Press’s first December Daily mini kit! I have to say that KP doesn’t disappoint with holiday kits. I’m looking to spend all my money there + a Paislee Press mini kit if she has another.

I’m another that is not a fan of LLP handwriting. It’s too childish and messy and I’ve never been a a fan.

I did get my TN subscription cancelled bc I just wont use Tina’s Designs.
Knowing my luck, this was the last of the LLP kits for the remainder of the year...

Not much different than the assumption that love of coffee is universal and that everyone needs it to function. I can’t stand coffee and have no use for coffee-themed product (I do however love bacon).
