I am waiting for the "new" Will & Grace---does that count? Otherwise I watched This is Us & The Good Place and liked both of them. I was concerned that The Good Place might just keep repeating similar plot lines for a moment, but now I think it will be okay based on a few details from this first episode.

As for wisdom of the crowd? Hell no. We just had a friend accused and found guilty by social media. He is still waiting for the local new station to issue an apology. A woman posted his photo and accused him of a heinous crime without going to the police first. People were threatening to kill him and so much worse about a half hour later. He was completely innocent. That is horrible!! She should have to receive some sort of criminal punishment for that (slander??) How awful. As far as new shows...none of them particular looked all that interesting to me this year for some reason. I am looking forward to Will & Grace though. I watched the Orville, and liked it a lot, and will keep watching it. I watched Young Sheldon and it was just ok, may or may not continue to watch I watched Me, Myself & I and it was just ok, probably won't keep watching - I might watch another episode before I decide I recorded the Good Doctor but haven't had a chance to watch it yet I watched Law & Order: True Crime and didn't like it so won't continue watching that one Save

The death threats alone would make me do it. But he just wants it all to go away.

It's still softball season, so we will have to catch some of the new ones on Demand, especially ones that are on at 10pm. I just cant make it til 11 and be functional at work the next day! The shows I'm interested in are Law and Order - Menendez murders, the SEAL show (although I think that one won't hold my interest if it's the same stuff every week, and we did watch Young Sheldon, but didn't really care for it for a few reasons: 1. There is no way the sister would be swearing and talking the way she did in an ultra-religious family in the late 80s. None. 2. The dad is played by the guy who played Leonard's childhood bully in TBBT - I think Jimmy Speckerman every time I look at him. 3. We know a lot about Sheldon's childhood from TBBT and the show really isn't keeping true to that.
It might be one of those shows we watch if it happens to come on after something else we are watching, but probably not a Must See for us. We love TBBT though!

This week I watched The Good Doctor, The Brave, Seal Team. I liked The Good Doctor, The Brave was just ok, and I fell asleep during Seal Team.

I’ve pretty much given up on network shows because they’re so quick to cancel anything that isn’t an overwhelming ratings winner, but I’m going to give Kyra Sedgwick's new one, Ten Days in the Valley, a chance, just because I loved her so much in The Closer.

It's not something I want to watch though, I didn't like the characters the first time around. I'm not sure about The Good Place. Dh loves it but I'm still on the fence. It's very innovative but I'm not sure they have enough to keep this going.

The family is not ultra religious just the mom. And from experience the preacher kids and teacher kids were always the worst.

I watched The Good Doctor because I love medical shows and found it to be okay. Will have to see how it goes in further episodes.

We tried watching The Orville but didn't like it at all. We both loved A Million Ways to Die in the West so we had high hopes for The Orville but we just kept wondering when it was going to get funny. I canceled it on the DVR that same night.

I watched The Brave last night and liked it. I also want to watch the autistic dr one, but couldn't keep my eyes open. There aren't too many new ones I want to watch. I want to watch Seal Team and the one with Shemar Moore. Other than those, I don't think there are any others.

I watched Me, Myself and I (CBS) online and I loved it. It's sweet and different. There are some predictable elements. However, the fact that it is full of likable, relatable characters makes it far and above most of the sitcoms.
