Everyone is doing amazing! I love hearing about your journey!
People ask me all the time if I am on a diet. I struggle to answer that question because I don't feel like I am on a "diet". I eat normal food. I cook for my family just like I always have. BUT, I have added high-intensity interval training and portion control to my lifestyle. Some weeks, I don't budge an ounce. Sometimes, I let that depress me. But, I've come so far that I try to forgive myself for my mistakes, learn from them and do better. No matter HOW you obtain a healthier you, keep plugging along. Persistent and patience will win in the end!
Great job everyone!!!

Great thread! I have been struggling with runaway weight gain since I had to take anti-biotics for a tick bite 3 years ago. My weight started dropping recently when I started being treated by an orthodontist who specializes in the airway and TMJ. Being able to breathe better means better sleep means being able to take better care of myself! I am excited by the improvements in health I have been seeing and look forward to more including continued weight loss.

I've lost 40 pounds since I was at my heaviest about 7 years ago. About 25 of that came off slowly, but the other 15 has come off only in the last 6 months. I switched to a mostly plant based diet, I'm trying to avoid gluten when I can, and I'm trying to incorporate intermittent fasting when life allows. I saw a new number on the scale today that I haven't seen since DD 14 was a baby.
