Who watched?! I LOVED it. Felt like old times and not in a hokey cliched way. Felt like it never left. I had forgotten Karen was friends with Trump in the original series. Nd wasn’t she frenemies with Marlo then?

I liked it, but I hope that it's not so political in every episode. I don't really think it will be. I don't mind the occasional joke (because that would be "who" they are), but I really try to stay away from political commentary in entertainment for the most part.
But overall, I thought they picked up pretty well where they left off.

I missed the first half (freaking directv dispute with our NBC station.... grrrr) but thought what I saw was really funny. I wasn't a huge fan of the original, but liked it better than anything "new" I have tried to watch in years.

The jokes and nods to the old show were great.

I really don't think they'll continue to be so political, I do believe that's the message they were sending at the end when Karen said "You guys are so preachy when you talk politics." and Grace responded with "We should just be who we've always been."

I loved it - just like old times!
I liked how they explained away the kids and such and then Jack looked at the camera and said "Got it?" Haha!

I have it DVR’d to watch today.
I liked the old show and characters a lot. But, I agree I hope it’s not politics heavy. These characters used to poke fun at themselves and each other. Their inter-relationships is what made the show good in the past.
It’s a short-run series, so I’ll watch it because I liked the original show and cast.

I didn't know it was on. I don't watch much network television. I will have to catch it On Demand.

I hate that they explained the finale away like that, but what else could they do? It definitely felt like old Will + Grace though. Here's to 2 good seasons!

I haven't seen it - I really was expecting it to be a let down cause you know the remakes are never as good as the originals. I will watch it on demand. I am excited to see the good reviews.

I liked it but I'm another that hopes they aren't heavy on the politics in the future. It was way too much.
Where can I watch the finale of the series, does anyone know? I don't even remember if I saw it or not.

They are playing the old W&G on Cozi. We watched a few episodes last night. It wasn't must see tv the first time but i did watch it occasionally. I was surprisingly ambivalent watching the old episodes. It wasn't as funny as i remember.

I absolutely LOVED it. So natural. I belly laughed, several times. I also hope it's not all political.
So glad it's back. We needed another great comedy!

I am so bummed. I had planned to watch but of course my night didn't go as planned last night and I ended up not home until 9:30. I did not get to DVR it. I have direct TV so there's no on demand feature. If anybody figures out how to watch it online will you let me know? Otherwise I will just have to tune in next week.

I loved it too! I was worried that the interactions would feel forced after the actors have not worked together for so many years. But it didn't feel that way at all. The chemistry between all of them was right back there like the show never stopped. Can't wait for more episodes!

Reminds me of the Good old days when all my favorite tv shows were on Thursday nights. Seinfeld, Friends, Will and Grace, Frasier, Without a Trace, Survivor, CSI. There in not one show I look forward to on Thursday nights anymore. Except Will and Frace of course. Jen

I dvr'ed it so I could watch it after The Orville (which I also love). Lots of laughs.

My only gripes: Too much political stuff. I really hope they tone that down. And I thought at some points Debra Messing was overacting....or shouting....or I don't know how to put it into words.
Really excited to see where this all goes, hopefully with less politicalness, if that's a word

I thought they were all overacting at different points and hated the laugh track. It did have its moments and I'm hoping they settle into the easy, natural banter that was so great the first time around. My biggest laugh was Karen, barefoot with her feet tucked under her, sitting on the Oval Office couch.

If #45 gets wind of it he's bound to fire off a tweet! I thought there would be some political references but it was full of them! Loved it!

Other people mentioned the laugh track too. I am going to watch it again this weekend, I was kind of going between this show and football....so I didn't catch it all.

I dvr'ed it so I could watch it after The Orville (which I also love). Lots of laughs. Side-step: I did the opposite - watched Will & Grace and then watch (recorded) The Orville (which I really like a lot) - I have a friend staying in town and she loved the Orville too and went back after that episode, stayed up late last night and watched the first 3 episodes that she hadn't seen yet - on demand. I didn't know it was on. I don't watch much network television. I will have to catch it On Demand. I tried to watch it again this morning because my husband missed it last night. They want $1 on, On Demand to watch it. No way am I paying to watch anything on over the air tv. It actually pissed me off. It was a hilarious show though.

I am not home to check but there is no way I am paying. I pay enough for cable. I thought network tv was free and only certain movies you had to pay for. Even all the more reason cable sucks. (Sorry stepping of my soapbox.)
