WTH??? Did this happen to anyone else when they updated? How do I get rid of them. It is making me nuts. I have googled it, but I am still not finding any answers. Grrrr...

Check your camera settings. You’ve probably got it set to save the normal photo plus the HDR one.

Yes that is exactly what it is doing. I have to say that it totally messed up our phones. I use the same apple account for me and my 2 sons. When we upgraded to the new IOS, my texts started going to their phones and all my contacts got transferred to them. That didn't happen when we set up their phones. I took them in to Verizon and they couldn't figure it out either. I had to delete all contacts on my sons phones and start fresh. That seemed to resolve the issue.

I just went to check this photo setting and it is set on "keep normal photo." Please forgive me for sounding stupid, but would it be generally recommended to shut this off? I'm always so afraid of deleting or changing something important. SaveSave

grrrrr..... I can't edit the above reply.
I just wanted to add that I just looked at my phone app, and "HDR" on top has a line through it. I'm assuming that means it's shut off, and I only have "normal" pics? So if I shut off the option in my reply above, does that mean it will delete the only copies I have?

Check your camera settings. You’ve probably got it set to save the normal photo plus the HDR one. I thought that was what it could be, but I checked and no, that isn’t it.
