What's the deal with EK Success? I'm having a heck of a time finding permanent adhesive refills for my Herma Dotto dispenser. Repositionable is readily available, but I don't use that. Has it been discontinued? Are they out of business? I've not been able to find a dedicated website for the EK Success (or EK Tools) products to ask. Thanks for any intel.

No, those are the tabs. I'm looking for the other type of adhesive, the tiny little dots. Thanks for trying to help, though! I have since found some, but it's as scarce as hen's teeth at my usual vendors and my LSS. |

I don't know what's up with the EK Herma Dotto's either. I haven't been able to find it for a while now so I switched to the pink Tombow one and it was discontinued! Ugh! I tried this one from Kokuyo. I've only been using a couple of months now but so far I like it enough to buy the 5 pack of refills. |

A quick internet search showed that they were merged with Wilton brands back in 2007, and more recently Wilton acquired Simplicity which is where the EK Success website now redirects to, and all that comes up are some American Girls craft kits.  EK as we once knew it in scrapbooking's heyday is apparently extinct. I just looked and it appears as if the permanent refills are available on Amazon and are currently showing as in stock. I stopped selling all of that add-on stuff at the retreats where I did custom diecutting because everyone bought those things from the local store, but in my experience the repositionable always outsold the permanent probably four to one so that might be part of why you're having a harder time finding it locally. The permanent was never a big seller for me. |

If you ever get truly desperate, I have a stash because I only use repositionable and I used to buy 'lots' that were a mix of both. I would definitely do a trade or sell them and buy more resmoveable!

I found that EK Success has a FB site, so I sent a PM and asked the question regarding whether the permanent adhesive had been discontinued. The person who replied did not answer that question, but did tell me the permanent was available at Walmart.com and Amazon.com. So, for now, I guess I'm good, but I still wonder . . . .  |
