Have you ever bought a whole ton of scrapbooking supplies while you were either asleep, drunk, tipsy, on Ambien/Lunesta/ or anything else? I have to admit I have made some very major scrapbooking purchases while I was intoxicated on one thing or another. That would be the only way I could explain all the crap stuff in my scraproom. It had to get there somehow right? Back in the heyday when I was rich and needed everything ever made stuff was arriving every single day.
Now I am not rich and have lots of good stuff to keep me going. Thank goodness!

I have made a TON of late nite purchases!
Luckily one of them was my 2 Peas sweatshirt, lol.

I almost bought some embossing dies off HSN one night when I was a little tipsy. I am so glad I didn't, because I never would have used them! I have hard time resisting things when I'm sober, so the fact that I resisted while buzzed is a major feat, lol!

I don't think I have -no- I know I have never bought anything while under the influence.
But I think it is a great excuse to give and from now on I'm going to use it.

No. But one night when my husband was working 3rd shift he came home for his lunch break and there I was drinking margaritas and listening to disco music (which was before my time) all while scrapbooking. He said I had every light on in house and it was like he walked in Saturday Night Fever. I don't remember much of that night lol but I have one of the best scrapbook layouts I have EVER made as a result. Oh and that was the first and last time that ever happened lol!

It's even easier to do if you digi-scrap. Shopping online under the influence... I wish I could use that excuse for my huge stash of digi-kits (700 isn't too many, right?)

Wow! At least you have an excuse. I was completely sober for all my spending! But I have no guilt, because my husband has a very expensive hobby and definitely outspends me.

I was I could blame my stash on that, but I bought most of it before Ambien and Lunesta.

My one and only TV shopping channel purchase was medication-fueled and scrapbook related. I was recovering from surgery, high on pain pills, bored to death, and flipping channels one day when they were showing scrapbook products. They showed these big boxes that were filled with all kinds of coordinating borders, letter stickers, and other things. It seemed like the most awesome and cool idea I had ever seen. Every item that they showed was unique and special and something I could absolutely and most definitely use. I needed those boxes of scrap stuff so badly that if I let the opportunity to get them pass me buy, I'd be kicking myself in the butt for years.
I bought two of them.
I never used a damn thing out of either of them.
But the ladies at the church scrapbook ministry in my town were very happy to take them off my hands a few years later.

Not while under the influence. I do, however, have a very flippant attitude towards money late at night. I always joke that my laptop should shut off come 9 PM because after that I tend to shop and buy whatever I want regardless of price. In the day time I am much more rational and don't buy anything. At night, all bets are off. Sometimes boxes come in and I don't even remember what I ordered until I open them.

Ha ha! When I took Ambien, I sent emails and texts but never had purchasing issues. Probably because I keep my wallet downstairs and bedroom is upstairs. Too much effort to go get.

I bought a Pilates type w/o thingy after taking half of an Ambien (I used to suffer with insomnia terribly). I sent it back!
