I have the older Selphy CP 800 and am wondering about the newer models? Do the newer ones still print at less than a true 4x6 size? I use mine for pocket scrapping mostly, so that size issue has been a bit of a pain. Yet I like the dye sublimation printing - my photos have not faded or discolored. Is the newest model (1300) much of an improvement over the last model (1200)? Any thoughts to share? Thanks!

I’m not sure about the 1300 but the 1200 still prints slightly less than 4x6, which can make aligning phots tricky :/

The 1300 model uses the same paper + dye cartridge pack as its predecessors meaning you will not get the true 4x6 print. I only see added interactivity and gadget features (party shuffle, photo booth) being promoted when you compare the 1200 and the 1300. My guess is that you will not be getting a better product in terms of the print quality itself. It's a matter of whether you want the additional fun features (and whether they're worth the extra money to you) or not.
