Anyone know how to set gelatos or dylusions so that you can stamp or use distress inks on top?

I have never done this but I've heard others using a fixative or clear gesso over either. I'm guessing I'd go with clear gesso for stamping only because the distress inks would need a ground to absorb into. Though workable fixative would possibly be fine also.
If you're using it on a card or layout, a little curling action might happen (like paint would cause) though. Usually they flatten out after awhile, unless you use a couple of heavy books after it dries

Wendy Vecchi's clear embossing paste would work too, and the crackle one would give a neat effect!

Why would you "set" Gelatos? Once they're dried, they are permanent so you can do all those things and more.

I want to "set" them so I can stamp or paint or put other wet things on top. I thought that if I put something wet on ot they would reactivate.

How about getting a small piece of the paper you will use and try it first to see what happens. That way you are not ruining your work page. That is what I intend to do first...I get so intimidated in trying new things out...let us know how it works out for you...

I took a class with Donna Downey at CHA and we painted on canvas with gellatos and then stamped on top with a stazon ink pad. The look was fabulous! We sprayed the canvas with a Krylon spray at the end.
