I'd just not reply since you still want the purse.

They are not asking for more money or information, so I would just wait the extra time and see if your purse arrives. What do you have to lose in waiting?

Do you have some sort of proof that they sent the first one?

I think it's likely a scam, most businesses and private sellers send tracking numbers when they ship. If you didn't get one, that'd be a big red flag.
I suspect they will delay your order giving one excuse after another until it is too late for you to initiate a claim against them, then they will suddenly disappear.

What do you have to lose in waiting? The ability to file a claim with PayPal. You only have up to 30 days to file a claim. After that, it's tough luck.

The seller has 19,000 positive, 300 negative and 300 neutral I didn't get a tracking link and I see ebay says I have to file a complaint in under 30 days.

Before I saw this post--I thought, "They will delay until it is too late to file with ebay or ?? for the refund." I think it is a scam. Ask for your refund.

If you never got a tracking number, then file a claim. If you did get a tracking number, then do some searching yourself for the package.
Honestly, sounds like they're stalling you until the claim window expires.

Don't take a chance. Use the EBAY site to message the seller that you want a refund and then file w/Paypal. Don't lose your money. BTW-I have bought some good purses on EBAY. I get my LeSportSacs on EBAY. FTR, I never purchase anything from sellers who have less than 100% feedback. I know that they have 19,000 positives, but I'm more concerned about the negatives.

If it is going to go over the time limit, I would probably ask for a refund and then repurchase the item. Typically the China listings have multiple listings of the same thing, so check for that possibility first. Good luck!

I had something go well beyond the refund window and it was only a few dollars. I had forgotten about it until I went to do a craft and remembered the piece I ordered never arrived. I sent a message to the seller and they immediately sent me another order, no questions asked. They want a good rating and I have never had any difficulty with anything I have purchased from China.

I agree with everyone else. Ask for a refund now. I've had wonderful luck on Ebay and have never had a problem except for once. I bought a great used designer leather purse ( that looked new and luckily I asked the seller before I bought if it had been used by a smoker. She said no. Well it arrived and as soon as I opened it it reeked of cigarette smoke. I contacted her and explained what I'd found and asked her for a refund due to her lie (said that in the email in very a very polite business tone). First she agreed, and then the next day she refused. I contacted Ebay by phone (there is a way to do this) and they looked at the contact back and forth between us and made her refund me and pay for the shipping. Plus they gave her a time period to do it in. That bag was $75.00. I'm sorry but I can't remember the brand. It worked out extremely well because after that I found the most amazing Furla Classic Nutturno Dark Ink Blue Manola Hobo leather bag on Ebay that was new without tags selling for $110.00. I see these bags on Ebay in the same condition and they are never lower than $328.00. Retail on them is $428.00 but they aren't a current style. Luckily something told me to grab it so I did. I adore this bag! It is the most amazing color. The size is perfect and it fits me so well even though it looks huge. The leather is so soft that it just molds against my body. Sorry to go on but just wanted to let you know that sometimes these things work out for the best. Hopefully you'll find an even better bag

Was it a knock-off purse? If so, it could have been seized by US customs. I don't believe that USPS would notify the shipper that a package went missing. Customs might tell the shipper their illegal/fake items were destroyed or seized though.
If you really want it, maybe wait a bit to see if it actually arrives. But I certainly would watch the refund time window so that you still have that option open, even at the last minute.

You now have 180 days, most likely because of all the Chinese sellers on eBay. www.consumeraffairs.com/news/paypal-expanding-return-window-to-six-months-100614.htmlThis doesn't sound like a scam to me. I've had a similar situation happen and I was OK with waiting, and my item did arrive.
