I've been buying lots of Penzeys Spices lately, in an effort to clean up my spices/herbs and switch over to all Penzeys. I've been getting some great promo spices with my orders. Yesterday, I received a good size jar of Adobo seasoning. I've never used it before. It smells like cumin, with a twist. I'm not sure what to do with it. Do I use it in place of cumin in recipes such as chili? Rub it right on chicken breasts and grill? I'm open to any suggestions.

I think it would be delicious on chicken. I have a corn chowder recipe that uses it and it's delicious, like smokey cumin and a touch of red pepper.

I use it with a little chili powder on chicken and sauté for my version of street tacos.
