Every once in a while I see a hat I think is cute. DH almost always says it looks good on me, but I never get it. I don't know where and when I would wear one. Also, once I put hat on it stays on, my hair does not recover from a hat all.
So, do you wear hats? What kind? Where and when? If you have pictures I would love to see them.
Thanks.

I don't wear hats, my head is too small and they always fall off. My friend had the cutest beanie on the other day with a fur pompom, it looked great on her.

The only times I'll wear a hat is at a Friday night FB game and it's freezing cold out or when at the lake at it's windy as heck.

Very rarely. Like if we have a cold winter and I'm going out for Bonfire night then I might wear a beanie or something. I do have a "fur" hat which I bought, telling myself I'd wear it but Infeel too self conscious 🙂

I wear a sun hat when I'm sitting outside in bright sunshine. I wear a warm hat in the winter. Otherwise, I don't wear hats.

Nope ... I live in a cold winter climate and I still don't wear anything on my head unless I'm going to be outside for an extended period of time ... which is pretty much never

I can't figure out how to post a picture and text too. 😬 I like to wear caps like this with my pony tail pulled through the hole. Perfect for bad hair days.

I like to wear military style caps (the flat top baseball style). Thst style looks good on me but a regular BB cap looks terrible.

Not really other than working in the yard, at the pool or in the winter when it's cold (ie. snow-shoeing).
I have a very small face and most all hats are too big for me and kids hats are too small.

Nope- I spend too much time trying to make my hair look messy, so I don't want to ruin it.

Yes I love wearing wool fedoras when it's chilly.

I was going to say only in the winter, but after thinking about it a little more I wear one in the summer too. In the winter I usually won’t go outside in the cold without one and I’m constantly pestering DD to remember to wear one. It gets really freaking cold where we live, and frostbite is miserable. In the summer I have a baseball cap I wear a lot if I’m going to be outside. It keeps the sun out of my face and the deer flies out of my hair.

I do. I’ve been told many times that I look good in hats. I wear baseball caps, a cowboy hat, and beanies. I lived in hats for over a year when I had chemo. Now I struggle because hats destroy my hair but I still wear them.

I wear baseball caps at the beach and on casual days where I don’t feel like doing my hair. I hate anything on my head when I walk in winter, so just earmuffs. I have a fedora type hat which coincidentally I might have considered wearing today since it’s rainy and windy and terrible hair weather, but we are going to a theater so I think it would be rude to wear a hat in the theater, but don’t want to expose everyone to my hat-head.

DD got me a cute straw hat for a trip to Hawaii several years ago. I also wore it on a trip to California the next year. When it was breezy, I had to pin it to keep it on.
Any other hats, especially knit caps, don't stay on my head because my hair is super thick and poofy. If it's really cold and windy, I have a pair of earmuffs to wear.

Only when it’s frigid out with single digit temps and wind.

For some cruel reason I look terrible in hats. I do wear a hat when I'm going to be outside during the summer just to protect my head from the sun, but it looks dorky!

I only wear hats at the beach or DD's soccer games on a hot day. I find hats uncomfortable and don't do pony tales or headbands either.

I am so glad to know that I'm not the only one that gets hat-head from wearing them. My sister can wear a hat and look fabulous when it comes off, so I thought it was just me. I wore a Navy toboggan at Glow Nashville last night, but I rarely wear a hat. I'd love a pretty fedora!

I don’t think I look good in hats so I only wear them when it is necessary, such as when I am going to be outdoors in the hot sun for a long period of time. I also wore hats when I used to ski and be in the snow.

I have a very soft chenille hat that I sometimes wear if I am outside in sub-zero weather. I used to wear it when I walked the dogs but I haven't worn it now for a couple of years. I tend not to go outside when it is that cold.

No hats, but I do look like the unibomber on cold days when we walk around the lake.

Only knitted/crocheted hats when it's particularly cold. Beanies, slouch hats, and unstructured tams. And wide brimmed straw sun hats sometimes when I'm at the beach or out gardening in the middle of the day.
I wore boaters and berets a lot in the 80s, when hats really had a moment in fashion.
It's a shame they're not really worn much nowadays other than for warmth or sun protection.

During the summer, I wear a hat (straw sun hat/baseball cap/visor) anytime I am going to be out in the sun for more than a few minutes. In the winter, I usually just wear earmuffs.

I wear either a baseball or wide brimmed hat to protect my eyes & face if I'm outside for more than a couple of minutes. I rarely wear a hat as a fashion statement or accessory. A couple of girlfriends do wear hats as fashion statements and get regularly asked about them and/or complimented.

I look terrible in hats. I think it’s because evidently I have an Oprah sized head despite being 5’0. I only wear beanies when it’s really cold or a ball cap when it’s 105* and I’m at a kid sport event and dying from the sun in my eyes.

Occasionally but only when it's very cold in the winter. It's similar to this one

I wear hats all the time. I wear a baseball cap in the spring, summer, and fall, if it's sunny, raining, or I am having a bad hair day. In the winter I wear a knit hat with the braids dangling down because I live where it gets quite cold and I like my ears to be well covered. I wear wide brimmed hats while gardening, at the beach, or the fancy one to weddings. I just went to a formal/Steampunk wedding and I wore a fascinator that looked like a little top hat.
I didn't really think I looked that great in hats but I'd get compliments on my beach hat so I think it's just a matter of being confident.
