I wear Love Your Melon hats when it's cold outside. I have the kind of hair that really doesn't get messed up from wearing a winter hat and it's freaking cold here in the winter. You need a hat. I wear beach hats when I go on vacation or am by the lake. I look terrible in ball caps, but I do wear one when I run. That's it. e

Never. My head is huge lol, and my hair looks weird with a hat on it.

I have a tiny head, kids hats usually fit me just fine.
I wear hats for sun protection a lot. When it's cold I have a boiled wool hat that I wear. In my youth I wore cute hats as part of my outfit. People always tell me I look good in hats.

Generally only a sun hat when I'm working in the garden.
Other than that, I'd only wear a wool hat when I'm visiting Europe in the winter. I have a beret I really like.

I wear hats all the time! Visors and ball caps in the summer to keep the sun off my face. Any season I will wear a hat or bandana to keep my hair from blowing into my face. I also like the long tube bandanas to keep my frizzies off my face and ears warm. In the winter I have several warm weather hats I wear inside and out. I really don't care if they look good or not. LOL I am comfortable and protecting my skin.

Almost never. Only when absolutely necessary. I don't look good in them and they always give me a headache.

I wear dressy hats to church and tea. I wear a sunhat in the sun, and a ball cap when I am out for a walk in the rain, and a beanie when it is cold . I don't look good in cloches but I keep trying

Yes. Mostly wider brimmed hats - straw in the summer and felt in the winter. I rarely wear knit hats unless I'm skiing or something. It's not cold enough here for that.

I have a tiny head so hats look terrible on me. I do still wear a kid sized ball cap while kayaking and a hand made beanie during the winter for warmth.

I wear hats at the beach and in the winter. I also pull my hood up on my coats.
I don't wear fashionable hats as part of an ensemble or anything.

Only when I am reenacting, but I do almost always wear something one my head when I am (cap, veil, hat, depending on the time/place I am wearing).
I kind of like how I look in hats and wouldn’t mind wearing them, but it really isn’t a thing where I live.

I think I look ridiculous in hats, so I only wear them when it's cold outside.

Rarely. I have bangs so once a hat goes on, it's gotta stay on for the whole day.

So, do you wear hats? What kind? Where and when? nope- I am not a hat person. Well, only if we're outdoors and I'm wearing a baseball cap or my straw sun hat to shade my eyes. My hair does NOT recover from wearing a hat, either. It gets smushed. And it poofs out underneath the brim. And to quote someone else, I think I look ridiculous in hats. Only when I am reenacting, but I do almost always wear something one my head when I am ^^^ curious; what do you reenact?? (Civil War something-or-other, I'm guessing?)

I wear a baseball hat if I'm caught off guard and have to rush somewhere fast with wet hair. My head is gigantic, so I can't do fitted. I don't like to wear hats in the winter. I seem to sweat too quickly. If I do wear one, it's only when shoveling snow. Otherwise, I just flip up the hood on my coat going in and out of places. I don't mind wearing them, but haven't tried different styles. I'm not much of an accessories person; hats, scarves, jewelry...

Thanks for the answers. I would love to wear a hat for fun, but just cannot figure out when I would wear one that keeping a hat on the entire time would be OK. I am so fashion challenged sometimes.

I do medieval re-creation so yeah, my head is covered then too.

...I like to wear caps like this with my pony tail pulled through the hole. Perfect for bad hair days. Ditto, except without the Cowboys logo!

I wear a ball cap on the weekends most of the time and I have a chenille hat for winter when it's really cold - it's kindof like a bowler hat with a little brim that goes all the way around. I love hats and wish I could pull them off, but I just can't seem to make myself wear them on a regular basis.

I had a beret type hat I wore for my son's coldest soccer games. In reality it probably didn't do what it was supposed to do (keep me warm), but it kept my worry wart dh happy.
Hats, as in part of the outfit hat? No. The Christian University I went to required them for dressing up for church services. I only lasted one semester there. They has some weird rules.

Yes! I wear a baseball cap with a pony tail when I am camping (camping hair, don't care) I wear a fedora type hat in the heat of summer when my hair is flat or frizzy-depends on the humidity I wear a stocking cap in winter when I am snowshoeing, snowmobiling, outdoors I love hats!
