November, already. Yikes.
1. DD & I need to finish off the pants we made in sewing class last month. (just the waist band and hemming). 2. Make another pair of pants so she doesn't forget what she did. 3. Work on Christmas cards. only a passing thought, oh and I bought to card magazines that came with cute Christmas stamps. 4. 8x8 calendar swap that is already laid out in the silhouette studio, now I have to cut, print/cut, and assemble. 5. Pages for some of the challenges here. 6. I need to finish my quilt. 7. Start prepping my presents for the *girls* (young nieces)
I can't decide if I want to do all of the digital page challenges for the free kit this month. I always feel like I have to do them all if I start them but sometimes they aren't the best for accomplishing my own goals.

Maybe after the scrapping goals are met, I could get back into quilting to finish up a chevron quilt for my son for Christmas- I also have a gorgeous Moda jelly roll( the only one I have ever bought!) that would make a really great winter throw quilt!

I'm glad to be getting in on day 1 this month! Goals 1. last year's DD (I always do mine a year behind...it gets me in the mood for Christmas) 2. organize photos for 2017. I am SOOOO behind. Oh, and last Christmas photos. See #1 3. make a 12 month calendar for my MIL for Christmas. It's her favourite present (or so she says. I've been threatened that I'm not to omit it) I've been doing a BG calendar for her for about 10 years. When they folded up shop last year it meant a calendar from scratch... sigh.
If I accomplish those 3 things, I'll be happy with myself! Other scrapping will happen, but is more the r&r aspect of life so I don't want any pressure attached to it.

I also have a gorgeous Moda jelly roll( the only one I have ever bought!) that would make a really great winter throw quilt! I saw a gorgeous combination at Joann's the other day and passed it up as I think I should do other things first and why have it hanging around, but I really, really want to go back and get it. last year's DD (I always do mine a year behind...it gets me in the mood for Christmas) That's a really good idea!

I'm off a week of vacation next week, and then we get the entire week of Thanksgiving off...with two entire weeks off work, I'm hoping I'll make good progress on my goals. ~Today, I'm going to edit pictures for August, September and October and send to Persnickety to print (usually I print at home, but with me being this far behind and having so much time to scrap, I'm going to send them off) ~Finish PL for August, September and October. ~Stay current on PL for November. ~Finish prepping December Daily supplies and print/foil digital elements.

This is what I do, too. I haven't scrapped in ages (except for PL) so I'm planning a heavy scrapping month for November: 1. 2016 DD 2. Catch up on PL (almost there, just August to edit and print) But it all starts with photo editing, and blah, not my favorite task. linda, I didn't do so well on my goals for last month, either. You're not alone!

This month I'd like to do 8 layouts and edit and order a batch of pictures. Hopefully I'll accomplish more but I'd be happy with that.

Wow! You gals lay em down early!
I need to complete my family reunion album (about 10 pages, 8 1/2" x 11") so it can be copied for my brothers' families. I want to finish my fall album with photos I am planning to print on Friday. Also have two pages needed for my family calendar (November and the cover page).
Have a couple of card making dates with friends, which is good b/c I still have a bunch of Christmas cards to finish. Have a couple of bd cards and an anniversary card as well. And paint a sign and create a canvas as gifts.

Scrapbooking goals: I have a 20 hour Fri/Sat crop and I also have a 3 day retreat. My plan is to keep plugging away on my Colonial photos and actually finish those so I can move on to other time periods in the new year.
I have quite a few Sept/October photos to be scrapped but at this point I don't have the motivation to collect the products I need to scrap them. I think I have a Dec crop so I will try to get myself together by then to do these current pics up through Thanksgiving.
I began gathering the supplies I have to work on photos from my years living in Arizona. I might switch off the living history photos in the new year to work on those. I don't know. I haven't decided.
Other craft goals: I have 2 garb orders for tunics that I need to do this coming weekend. I need the money for my scrap retreat. I have 2-3 other garb orders to do between now and Dec. I guess I'll get them done at some point.

Since my scrapbook room is pretty much all organized (finally), I definitely need to accomplish some projects. I need to:
-Finish Xmas cards for personal and swap -make 4 birthday cards -start a fishing album for my husband (that may or may not be a Xmas gift) -get my DD prepped and ready to go -print photos for second half of 2017 -maybe actually make a scrapbook page or two for family album

Well October's goals didn't exactly work out. I was going to take a lot of photos of my last days as a 39 year old but long story not included it was not a good month and I didn't take the photos I needed to...
Novembers goals are:
To keep up my scrappy mojo (which has been good the past few weeks considering how crappy of a month it was) and to finish a whole lot of pages I started that aren't done yet.
To make some Christmas cards (about 12 which I give to neighbors along with cookies)
and to knit myself a hat, not scrap related but I need a hat...
We'll see how it goes.

just placed 2 online photo orders - 50 free prints from Snapfish and another 115 prints (101 free) from Shutterfly. That catches up the 2017 photo developing through October AND made a decent dent in the backlog of photo developing from 2013 - I think I just have March left to print - hopefully the next code will finish that up

I'm such a bad scrapbooker! I have a PL page I pulled cards for weeks ago sitting on my scrap desk with things piling on top of it because I haven't touched it in so long. My husband's hobby is something that I have less than ZERO interest in, but one night the weekend before last he was playing the app associated with said hobby and had a deadline. I took over his game (with instructions from him) as he prepped and cooked dinner...it was my way of avoiding doing dinner. Then I snatched his phone to play it again a few days later for another timed event. Then I pretty much took over for a week a few days after that. Then on Friday, I made my own account. The game is very addicting. It could honestly be any theme...the idea of strategy and the math base of it can be applied anywhere...it just happens to be for WWE. I've been playing it every waking second that I'm not required to do anything else (or away from home as I have it on my computer and my tablet...the game takes up a lot of storage and I don't have the space on my phone which is probably a good thing). The odds of me enjoying anything related to the WWE would probably have been somewhere around the same as the Browns winning the SuperBowl and yet...here we are. I honestly don't know when I'm going to sit back at my desk to scrapbook. I'm so into this game that I've been trying to tell my husband all week that I should just cancel my trip to the Ontario Scrapbook Expo, but we both know I'd regret not going in a few weeks when I'm burned out on the game. I'm the person that falls in love with a new song and plays it on loop until I just can't stand it anymore...it's all or nothing, so I'm sure this is temporary...but it's certainly not helping me reach my scrappy goals. I'm still not done with the first half of the year in PL and I don't know when I will feel like getting back to it.

I have barely scrapped in two months.
This month, I bought an album to start putting loose layouts from earlier this year into. It's too full and I need a second album.
Then I need two more albums, one for one kid, one for another.
My goal is to catch up on this year's school layouts.
And just a miscellaneous tidbit: I bought the cutest star enamel stickers at the Target dollar spot today. There are 57 to a pack. With red, green, and sparkly silver stars in three sizes. They are with the Christmas stuff.

I haven't scrapped since August! So I would just like to find some time for that.
-print out 2016's November thankful digital layouts (I think there are 4 left to print) -clean up studio a bit in preparation for holiday stuff -catch up 2017 traveler's notebook by using DayOne app journaling -work on editing photos, sorting, getting prints, etc.

My plans are to: -catch up on printing photos from 2017 (too behind for earlier years--LOL) -finish 1 square of embroidery for 1 grandchild due in Dec. and start on another square for the 2nd grandchild due early next year. -hope I can work on making Holiday tags though the embroidery might consume all my time (sigh).

My goals are to:
make kits for the two day crops I'll be going to this month (the first one is tomorrow - can't wait! )
Finish up my Christmas cards
Finish organizing my dies onto cards w/magnets. I'm keeping all my smaller dies in an old 4x6 album. The bigger ones and alpha sets will go onto magnetic vent covers.
And... try out my Gelatos (my birthday gift to myself)
Happy scrapping y'all !!!

(I wanted to get ordered earlier, but our internet was out Wednesday and our power was out Thursday night.) I’m going to try to revisit and update this post to keep myself accountable.

In October I took part in the Layout a Day challenge, so I'm a little burnt out. It's time to switch gears, so November is going to be all about Christmas cards. I signed up for the Peas exchange and that's a lot of cards!

In a moment of insanity I decided to take a project that was four albums and reduce it to two. I'm much happier with the more compact story but I've now go some work to do. So my goals for Nov are:
* reprint photos/journaling where needed to fit into the new album configuration * review all the layouts I pulled out and decide whether I want to toss, or rescue the photos and toss * finish or re do at least 6 pages * complete my October month in review pages
