In a moment of insanity I decided to take a project that was four albums and reduce it to two. I'm much happier with the more compact story but I've now go some work to do. So my goals for Nov are: * reprint photos/journaling where needed to fit into the new album configuration * review all the layouts I pulled out and decide whether I want to toss, or rescue the photos and toss * finish or re do at least 6 pages * complete my October month in review pages I had that moment of insanity last month. It was very rewarding....hope it goes well for you, too. |

SB goals for November:
•move Oct phone photos to laptop
•back up Oct photos to 2 EHDs
•continue to back up photos to Amazon (Oct 2012 - )
•put digi LO prints in albums (I have about 350!)
•put 2017 PL photos in albums (Jan - Mar done)
•complete 1 mo in PL (0 weeks completed)
•complete at least 6 projects total (0/6)
•work on an incomplete class

I have 3 projects I'm working on:
2010 traditional family album
2016 vacation album
2009 PL family album
Since these have been the same projects I've been working on for quite awhile (years in some cases)any progress will be a good thing!

placed another photo order for the Nov pictures so far plus ordered 3 calenders (b1g2) and a free ornament.
Finally finished the rest of the Sept 2017 layouts -they've been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks now...

-Complete dh’s nephew birthday album from 2015-2017
-Complete 2015 dh’s family Christmas album

had a productive day and am hoping to get a couple more layouts done before bedtime.
2-page layout from Oct 2017 Aquatics Weekend
2-page layout from Oct 2017 Harry Potter Lock-in (and I used some of the digital freebies someone here posted about)
that catches me up on the 2017 album until another photo order arrives
8x8 double page layout "Troop Camping" and a 8x8 single page layout "GS Museum" for DD11's Girl Scout album

DD11's is caught up until a photo order arrives and DD17's is caught up until she does something else GS related
and I'm finally getting going on the 2012 album now I have all the photos ordered to finish it. January and February were already done so I'm starting with March...

Linda, I'm always impressed with how much you accomplish. Here we are almost 1/3 of the way through the month and I haven't done anything besides choose paper for my next layout.

My insanity project is down to two albums. I've gone through all the layouts I pulled out and there are two left that I really like and want to keep even though they currently don't have a home (the rest have been thrown out) and I have started reprinting journaling and working on some of the pages that just need a small amount of work. |

finished March 2012...onwards to April...I'm hoping to get 2012 finished by the end of the year while still keeping up on 2017...Nov/Dec are busy months though so that may not happen

I've really only made progress on my 8x8 calendar swap. I was paper piecing flowers for it. I had an issue with my cameo the first day. Fixed that. Cut them all out. The next day I, inked and shaded each piece and glued each piece together. The next day I went to cut the grass out and realized that I cut everything on a 12x12 scale. urgh! I had to go back and re-do everything. Everything piece is either put together or flocked or glitter for final assembly. Today! They would have been ready Monday if I hadn't messed up the whole scale thing. Afterwards I'm hoping to finish ds's lounge pants and then I'll move on to Christmas cards.

My reunion album is DONE! Now I need to scan the pages so they can be put into a photo book.
Still need to do two calendar pages. Maybe I'll tackle those today. (The cover page sometimes magically becomes the back of my family Christmas letter, so WIN/WIN!)
I have enough Christmas cards for the Pea exchange, and have them packed up along with envelopes and the address labels to work on while sitting around in a hotel room Monday afternoon/evening.
Have allowed myself to play with the fall photos now that the crunch for the gift albums and the card exchange are easing off, so have quite a few of those pages finished. Today I finished PAGE # 365 for this year! That was my goal for 2017.
Still have some Halloween photos, some zoo pic's my ddil sent me, plus a school project to scrap, and I may be able to call my Fall album done. (Have not done any of the hockey pages--those may need to go into the Winter album.)
BUT, that will come after I have done the calendar pages.
ETA: the two calendar pages AND the Christmas letter are DONE!!! Will be away from home for 3 days, but hopefully I will be able to work on those Halloween photos when I get back.
How are the rest of you doing with your November goals?

I hope you get rest while taking care of dh too. May he recover quickly. Last week, I had everyone on doses of airborne as I felt a cold coming on. We got by without anything and I have a bit of cough today. We're going back on the airborne today, and I hope it works. |

This is more like for the rest of the year...
Get started on my kids school pictures. I'm putting the smaller ones on those retired 7Gypsies ATC card holders/spinners.
Keep up with the screen shots of DD's snap picture album. Love how this has turned out.
Design DD's Varsity cheer albums cover. All the parents get an album to put 100 pics in for the end of season banquet. I design it they put it together with my example.
I've been emptying boxes of pictures stashed in my closet. I've put most in albums and tossed the dups.
Start cleaning out DD's room in preparation of her leaving for college.

Instead of completing individual weeks in PL, I’ve been batch processing. Put in photos, then put in cards, then embellish and journal. I’ve got all of 2016 photos in, and cards in for vol. 1 (Jan-June). Also have all photos I’ve printed for 2017 in pockets (Jan - Aug). I also put several years of digital layouts into albums - that took an afternoon! Feeling accomplished. 😃 |

November, already. Yikes. 1. DD & I need to finish off the pants we made in sewing class last month. (just the waist band and hemming). 2. Make another pair of pants so she doesn't forget what she did. 3. Work on Christmas cards. only a passing thought, oh and I bought to card magazines that came with cute Christmas stamps. Started. 4. 8x8 calendar swap that is already laid out in the silhouette studio, now I have to cut, print/cut, and assemble.5. Pages for some of the challenges here. 6. I need to finish my quilt. 7. Start prepping my presents for the *girls* (young nieces) I can't decide if I want to do all of the digital page challenges for the free kit this month. I always feel like I have to do them all if I start them but sometimes they aren't the best for accomplishing my own goals. 4 days left of November and 1 thing is crossed off and one huge task is started. I'm hoping to get a good chunk of the cards finished before the end of the month. Everything else will roll over to December. I'm definitely behind. And to top it off, I started getting sick day before yesterday. Hurray! NOT! It's really effecting my energy level, but I'm still trying to plod along even if it is more slowly than I would like. |

Finished the fall themed pages in my Autumn album and put away my Fall and Halloween papers and extras. Still have some photos that can be scrapped for that album, but I can use different supplies for those. And those won't be done this week.
Goals for this last week in November:
**Finish scanning the reunion scrapbook pages: 40 done; 40 to go. Then they need to go to the printer.
**Add some sparkle and glitter to the 25 Christmas cards I put together yesterday. I really WANT to play with a new Christmas ornament die I picked up yesterday on sale, but that isn't really a goal...
**Create the four birthday cards I need for friends and family for December.
Then it will be December, and all my creative energy will be going into decorating for the holidays, wrapping gifts, and doing Christmas baking.
