We're headed to ikea today. I've only been to one once and that was probably 6 or 7 years ago. What do you love from there?

Raskog carts, plastic bag holders, Kallax units, Alex drawer units, those are just off the top of my head I need to make a run to my IKEA for a couple of the plastic bag holders. When I moved I left mine at my old house. I need a new one, I miss that thing. I also saw some other uses for them, wrapping paper holders, printed out pattern holders, I can't think of the others, but that's what I want them for.

I love all those ideas for the bag holder, wow! Thanks for sharing that Deshacrafts! I'm going to try storing my potatoes and onions in one of those, inside a cupboard door. What a space saver!

We'll shoot. I had zero desire to head to our new IKEA until I clicked on that link. Give me a bunch of those and some command strips and I'd be in heaven!

I like the discount area. We signed up for their e-mails and a couple of weeks ago they let us know about their promotion of 2 for one for their meals. I enjoy a reasonably priced lunch there. Some people like their frozen meatballs. I enjoy buying food and such from beyond the registers. Their bottled apple juice etc is nice and good to include for a neighbour or friend gift and they are reasonably priced.

I like Ikea drinking straws. I buy them by the truckload when I get a chance to shop there.

Probably not what you are looking to run out and buy, but we've had our Ektorp sofas for over 15 years and they are holding up very well. Bonus that you can wash and change the slipcovers. A lot of people were negative about them believing that Ikea furniture was junk, but they've done better than our much more expensive sofas we had previously.
Also love the bag holding, the Raskog cart, frames, cheap hooks for the pot rack, chip clips, there's a knit blanket I can't remember the name of, but it's cozy & attractive.

Hazelnut chocolate bars! And yes, the fat straws! I also collect cute little individual glass dessert serving dishes and have a few from there.

I like Ikea drinking straws. I buy them by the truckload when I get a chance to shop there. Man I was just there and they were on my list!! I forgot to get them! Guess Im going to have to go back *sigh * Such a hardship I love IKEA. I would say just buy the whole store but that might be a bit unreasonable This last trip I picked up more bathmats, a few towels (they were green and polka dot..couldn't help it) I also like their smaller casserole dishes now that its only me Im cooking for. You cannot go wrong with Raskogs or Alex units I know I picked up more than that this trip but its all a foggy memory Im still eyeballing two lights in their lighting department.

If you've got a kid going off the college any time soon, I highly recommend their blue carrying bags. They have two sizes, one is the one they use in the store as you select items and the other is more duffle-shaped with a zipper. The duffle bag hold a lots of stuff or you can actually use it as a garment bag to transport clothes. I found them near the check out area.

I have been looking online at these sofas. I hope to go to Ikea soon and see them in person.

Just a hint, wear comfortable shoes and carry some water. You walk a lot and it gets warm in there.
I bought a couple of stocking fillers last week, a bamboo phone holder and bamboo tablet holder, good man presents. Packs of batteries.

I worked as a receptionist for IKEA while in University ... best job I've ever had I have a number of things in my house ... The smaller things would be the dish scrubbers, whisks and vases ... oh, and candles! I also have some great lanterns that look so nice on my mantle We also have white duvets and duvet covers with pillowcases ... their prices are THE BEST

My favorite thing about IKEA is knowing all of the shortcuts! I have become a pro at taking the hidden doors and getting to the section I need faster.
I also love the Raskog cart. I have imitators of the cart, but they are not the real deal.
