totally made me LOL to see the lightsabers in that plastic bag holder just popped in to say you MUST absolutely buy the "peppakakor" thin ginger biscuits- they are always in a cute tin at Christmas and they are to die for delish - my entire family fight over these

I love IKEA, especially because they throw birthday parties monthly and give gifts to birthday month kids. They have awesome art supplies and I like their black out roller shades, we put them in every bedroom. We buy both kinds of drinking straws, napkins we have their plates and silver wear, I have their cabinets and a scrapbooking table that folds small when not in use. I think our kitchen island is from them but the previous owners bought it. I love their whimsical wrapping paper and it's nice and heavy so it doesn't rip while I wrap. Most of all I love eating in their restaurant, love Swedish meatballs and chicken fingers and smoked salmon. I'm a huge fan of the store!

DS picked out a desk and I wanted a shoe cabinet. After that I couldn't spend a lot so I just got some bag holders (we use them for rabbit hay feeders as well as bag holders in the utility room and both garages), some dog butt hooks, some pillow inserts (I have plans to make a quilted pillow for my sister) and a dog frisbee. I took pics of a bunch of things I want to save up for. thanks for all the ideas! Also thanks for the couch recommendation. We need to replace ours soon and I like their prices on couches.

I always buy all new dishtowels when I go to Ikea. They are so cheap I can replace them all because despite bleaching, they do get dingy looking over time. They used to sell this great plastic pitcher with a straining lid and optional center tube for ice. I never used the tube, but the pitcher was more of a skinny oval shape than round - it fits in the fridge perfectly. I've bought 4-5 over the years, but alas I don't think they have them anymore. I'm still using the last one I bought there.

I like Ikea drinking straws. I buy them by the truckload when I get a chance to shop there. Me too! I also love the under the bed drawers. There’s a few different lines. We don’t have ikea beds and they fit. We recently moved to a smaller house and these have helped tremendously. The lingonberry seltzer water in the cafe is really good. I love their ice. It’s the mini pellets. The drink dispenser on the way out of the store does not taste the same. I also have their pillow inserts. Down and fiber fill.

They have bath towels that are really nice and have a separate loop midway down one of the long sides. They're great for getting kids to hang the @#$% towel up instead of leaving it on the floor! We also love their food, both there and frozen, especially the regular meatballs, chicken meatballs, and veggie cakes.
ETA: Oh, and also the pear cider - DELICIOUS! It's carbonated and so refreshing. It'd be a nice treat/fancy drink for an expecting mom or anyone who doesn't drink champagne.

Nice big fluffy towels and the loop is very handy.

The apple slicer is a favorite. There's a black pancake turner that I love -- it's just the perfect size and shape. I love some of their coffee mugs-- perfect size for at-home latte making. I always keep a collection of kids' plastic dishes for guest children -- they're so cheap, but durable and cute. I pick up inexpensive vases to use when gifting flowers from my garden. I use a lot of kitchen organization items in my sewing room -- the kitchen rail to hang clips and baskets for small items, the bag organizers for interfacing rolls, the small wooden chests to store notions.

I bookmarked this thread so when we go back (soon, hopefully) I can refer to it quickly.
