Stop, just stop. Your a grown woman. And no, I’m not talking about tearing up on the runway with emotion. That’s normal. It’s the constant whining & bitching about everything.
I’m from an island I don’t know winter No one voted for me Etc etc etc
SHUT UP!!!
I’d send her Home just for all the whining. Man the editing of constant Margarita whining this week drove me over the edge
On the other hand either Brandon is the most modest and sweet dude ever or he got a super excellent edit.

Here's my beef. Seems like every other year they add just ONE more person to fashion week. Pretty soon EVERYONE will be going. So why bother with the season?!

Am I the only one who hated Ayana’s coat? That thing was hideous
As soon as Kenya said the word blouse I knew they wouldn’t like it. I don’t think she or Margerita should have gone.
Why do the designers like the drop crotch pants so much this season? I don’t think they’re flattering on anyone.

I knew no one would go home this week. I'd like to see Kentaro win but I think Brandon will.

I seriously think they needed to ditch Kenya and Margarita last night. I despise the Tim Gunn save. What good does it do? Keeps someone around longer who should have gone home? When the process is to narrow down to one winner, then why save someone?
Kenya has the worst personal style for a designer. She looks like crap with that leopard scarf wrapped around her and a golf cap on. She's on national television for God's sake.
I was encouraged that only 3 will actually go to fashion week according to the previews, which basically just drags out the season and gives 2 designers $10K who won't show at fashion week.

I like Brandon's stuff but I feel like lately everything is that same style, straps etc. Reminds me somewhat of a straight jacket.
Definitely hate the drop crotch pants. Talk about Captain Poopy Pants!
I think the Tim Gunn save only makes other designers build up animosity against the saved person. Most times as we've seen they really should have gone home and often just postpones the going home.

The last few designers eliminated are usually asked to make a collection for Fashion Week as decoys to keep the top 3 a secret. So I guess it will add to the drama of eliminating 2 people next week unless they drag it out for an extra week.
Margarita's dress walked a lot better than it looked on the dress form...Liris is outstanding on the runway!! But she should have been eliminated because the back of the garment was unfinished. Just like last week. The judges make the "the smallest mistake will send you home" warning and they let that slide at the final four? It was not at all surprising she got pissy no one picked her to go to fashion week. And I have a hard time believing the no fur rule isn't outlined somewhere in the rules.
Kenya's coat was gorgeous but the blouse was a throw away. Pretty on it's own but no where near high fashion.
Kentaro's garment was spectacular. I loved Brandon's too but his point of view is so defined, I wonder if he'll break away from that for his final collection.
Overall, I like Ayana's garments but last night was a miss. It just seemed like the judges really wanted to like her design this week because she's put out some amazing designs.

I can't wait for Tim to go visit Brandon's home. I'll be really surprised if he doesn't win. The judges have loved his style from the get-go. He's so sweet and likeable. I wonder though if winning Project Runway really gives them the successful career all of them are looking for. Ayana's looks are hit and miss for me, same with Margarita. The faux fur dress reminded me of The Flintstones for some reason . I find Kenya's looks impeccably made. They always fit her models like a glove. Kentaro's style is not something I care for but I can see that he is a talented designer. Looking forward to the finale, even though I hate seeing the show come to an end. I wonder with the whole Weinstein debacle if the show will come back. I sure hope so.

I think Brandon will win it. Even though his style is sooo the same every time, The straps hanging down. crop middle, and baggy pants.

I'm curious if Margarita's home was damaged in the Puerto Rican hurricane. Not sure when this season was actually filmed but if she's included in a home visit, I wonder if it will be before or after the hurricane tragedy. I can't imagine she would have stayed in the competition if her home or family were in danger. Maybe she's from there but no longer lives there.
I'm not fond of her as a designer and her whining gets on my last nerve, however I hope her home and family are safe.

Especially when she said “ nobody chose me to go to fashion week? Thanks guys!” How selfish!! I loooved Brandon's cost. Loved Kentaro's whole outfit. I did not like Kenya's and Ayana's jumper was ugly. Her coat was cool.

What stood out to me about that scarf? That fabric print she made her jacket with was almost identical to the scarf. I know it was different but when she held up the fabric next to the scarf while shopping I thought "hmm?" When the twins pretty copied stuff they were wearing they got called out for it.

Any one might be snappish after that if their control slipped. But it was the entire show over & over & over whine, whine, whine. I can’t I can’t blah blah - I felt lik yelling at the tv get over it ‘make it work’

The only thing her scarf and the coat fabric had in common was the color palette. The twins were measuring and using clothes they owned as patterns and calling them their own design. I think Kenya comes from true poverty & designs for others, not herself. The scarf stands out a bit because of the pattern. No one notices or comments on how many times Margarita has worn the same ripped white jeans or Kentaro his white tshirt/jean jacket combo or Brandon his hoodie. I hate that a save is used this late in the competition especially given what Margarita designed this week. I'm disappointed for Kenya that the focus ended up on her blouse and the coat got lost because I thought it and the pants were spectacular.

I was encouraged that only 3 will actually go to fashion week according to the previews, which basically just drags out the season and gives 2 designers $10K who won't show at fashion week. They will still show at fashion week - but whoever they 'eliminate' in the next show will no longer be in the running to win Project Runway. I don't have an issue with it - we get an extra show and get to see what they do with more time and money, the designers get to show their work so they get some reward for getting this far in the show and it may help for their future career...but ultimately only 3 (or possibly 4) will be in the final of the show. Both Kenya and Margarita have obviously being doing it tough, so to get $10,000 and a bit of a boost for their career seems like fair payment for being on the show. I don't get the "drags out the season" comment...aren't you watching because you enjoy it? I think an extra episode is a bonus especially when we finally get to see what they can do without the crazy material challenges and always being rushed for time. I always enjoy the home visits too, it's interesting (and sometimes surprising) to see where they came from and who their friends and family are. As for this recent episode, I was also thinking STFU most of the time margarita was talking. Kenya said it about herself, but it applies to Margarita more "I have to get out of my own way". Margarita is her own biggest obstacle, she gets so caught up in her own head that then she can't make anything. I think Kenya should do well in plus size fashion, I thought her look was great on the model, she just needed a different fabric for the top. She designs much better stuff than plus size Ashley (I think her name was) from a few seasons ago...at least all Kenya's models have proper pants on & not granny panties and see through skirts. I like Brandon, he is confident in what he does, but manages to avoid being arrogant. I'm too old for his looks now, but if I was in my 20s now I'd love to wear the sort of things he designs. Kintaro is funny and I like his sense of humour, I loved it when he said "OK bye" to Brandon with such dead pan expression and then when he told the model it was too weird that she had no pants on. Maybe those two should go into business together, they have a very similar approach. I'm looking forward to seeing their collections next week - but I suspect I won't like Margarita's much, I've only liked one thing she made all season.

I thought Kenya’s coat was great! The fabric was such a bold choice. I think of all the designers, she has the potential to do a successful w/ a retail line. I thought her blouse was pretty, but it didn’t go w/ the coat. A simple ribbed turtleneck would have looked so much better.
Brandon’s stuff always looks great on the runway. I’m anxious to see what his collection will look like.
That was ridiculous that the judges didn’t send Margarita packing after she sent that unfinished dress down the runway.
I thought Katie Holmes was a good guest judge. She really had some interesting comments.

I wish that Kenya's coat was available to buy, I would wear the heck out of that coat! I love Brandon and Kintaro too, I think they could be very successful together, they have similar styles but by both working together they could push each other and then maybe every thing wouldn't look so samey. I love the home visits, more to see more of Tim Gunn then anything else.
I will be stunned if Kintaro or Brandon don't win.

I think Kentaro has been subtly copying Brendan by often adding the straps hanging down from his designs. But I do admit he does great work. Brendan is good at the same old basic designs. I've been disappointed that he hasn't designed something that no one could tell who the designer was. I think everyone else, good or bad has done that. And yes, I get the point of view thing, but he really hasn't challenged himself. I did love Kenya's coat. And I think Margarita lives in NY, but her family still lives in Puerto Rico.

-Kentaro's outfit was beautiful. That model is a virtual clothes hanger. -Brandon is inventive, but I'm tiring of the willy-nilly straps. And bare midriffs. -I appreciate that Ayana is making an effort to move out of her comfort zone while sticking to her modesty ethos. I didn't like the jumpsuit, but liked the mix of fabrics and and the black and white sleeves peeking out. (And that outfit reminded me of Mondo.) -I liked Kenya's coat and pants, but I generally like HER more than her designs. -Pobrecita Margarita. Overall, it was a good group of human beings - sans the twins. I enjoyed the collaboration and low drama. What stood out to me about that scarf? That fabric print she made her jacket with was almost identical to the scarf. I know it was different but when she held up the fabric next to the scarf while shopping I thought "hmm?" When the twins pretty copied stuff they were wearing they got called out for it. I'm confused by the suggestion that Kenya copied something. She made a plaid coat. She wore a leopard print scarf that contained two of the three colors from the plaid. An animal print and a plaid aren't even similar, let alone almost identical. And a scarf and coat aren't remotely similar. People often make stuff that is the same color as clothes they like to wear. We see it all the time on this show. Designers who wear (pick one) black/white/earthtone/pastel/bright/print/leather clothes gravitate toward black/white/earttone/pastel/bright/print/leather fabrics. On the other hand, the twins were criticized for making the exact same articles of clothing that each other - or their model - were wearing. (In a separate incident, one of them was then eliminated for measuring her own clothes in the hotel room to make pattern pieces.)

I'm confused by the suggestion that Kenya copied something. She made a plaid coat. I was only referring to the color. Not copied an outfit. I was also referring to one earlier episode with one of the twins when they copied a color palatte similar to what they were already wearing. I was not talking about a cumulative thing of all their copying etc. For me when she she fell in love with the pattern/color and held it up against her scarf the two (TO ME) were so similar in color they blended and i thought "well of course you love it, you are wearing it" My observation is not wrong because no one else felt that way. I rather liked the coat.

Just have to say that Kenya's clothes are beautiful and wearable. Not understanding the love of Brandon's ugly clothes. Who would actually buy them? I don’t think they are designed to be bought in their current incarnation. I think the judges are so enamored with something new and different and they see the potential in the clothes. I think they like the layering and the separates and all of the details are very “editorial” (to use their own term), but it would likely go through many iterations before it would be sold in stores. I appreciate how different it looks and that it looks good coming down the runway. I’m sure he’s going to win. But I’m on Team Kintaro.
