Thanks for sharing! It appears the dems/liberals that post several political stories a day here must have missed this one. But hey, HRC didn't win so who cares, move along.

More like spills lies or "mis-remembered" details as in the 2016 JFA (when she was already nominee) w/her claim of 2015 details.

Could be and was wrong.. HRC did not make the decisions alone, there were many involved. Donna Brazile has some credibility issues though too, supposedly giving HRC some of the debate questions ahead of time(NO clue if it is true, but easily could be). Seems no one was in charge, you don't hand control of anything to ONE person/group!! You don't need to look any farther then the WH!

I thought all this was revealed last year before the election?
I remember a kerfuffle about Bernie saying things were rigged against him--then the DNC leaked documents (by Wikileaks) showing it was true. --Seems there was also ?? about the money.
I didn't follow it closely 'cause I was not that "into" the DNC.
Having said all that----why is the GOP/Trump so fixated on Hillary? She lost, she went home, she won't run again.....The GOP needs to get over it and focus on good legislation and the troubles with the current POTUS.

This would be totally relevant if HRC had won.
She didn't.
This would be relevant if Donna Brazil’s hadn't already spilled this a year ago.
The GOP/Trumpsters are so focused on what HRC ALLEGEDLY did or did not do, that they are oblivious to the dipshit who “did win” (with Russia's help) and who is fucking up on a daily basis.
Concentrate on the today..not 2 years ago.

Posters above seem upset that none of the "dem/lib" political posters on NSBR jumped to create a thread to post old (and by all accounts on the 2015/2016 JFAs, faulty news). Even the WaPo link above concurs:
"But the op-ed doesn't break too much new provable, factual ground, relying more upon Brazile's own perception of the situation and hearsay."
And yes, Warren is in agreement. They are both entitled to their own opinion, as are we all. Brazile is not entitled to her own facts and so far no one has shown a 2015 JFA showing what she alleges.

I've had the same thoughts - I thought all of these deep revelations were already known? I guess this is back in the news because of Brazile's book? I agree the fixation on Hillary is weird. She's not president. I think it's a combination of deflection and distraction from Trump, it's easier to tear shit down than build something and have a vision, and probably a dose of misogyny. The attempt at building the uranium story is a perfect example - there were many people involved in the approval process, yet Hilary is the only one singled out? It's an obsession.

Donna Brazile has a new book out, which is why this is "big news" again. She wants to sell books and she's making the rounds with it. Far be it from Sean Hannity to pass up a chance to dump on the Democrats and try to focus attention away from his boy in the WH for a few moments.
There, is that enough Democratic commentary for you? Usually I reserve my opinions for subjects I'm actually interested in.

Primary Error: Donna Brazile Mixed Up Two Different Clinton-DNC Agreements"Donna Brazile reopened 2016 Democratic primary wounds yesterday by publishing a portion of her new book, Hacks: The Inside Story Of The Break Ins And Breakdowns at POLITICO. Although the usual suspects leaped on her claims that Hillary Clinton “control[ed] the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised” in a 2015 document, by the evening it became clear that Brazile had misrepresented the reality. There is absolutely nothing in the Clinton campaign’s 2015 Joint Fundraising Agreement that gave her any such “control” — not even in the draft version of that document hacked by Russian intelligence and published by WikiLeaks. Whereas Brazile claimed that Clinton wanted to “wield control of [DNC] operations” in 2015, she never assumed any such powers until June of 2016, when the primary race was over and she was the official nominee. As Brazile acknowledges, it is absolutely normal for the nominee to take control of the party apparatus at that point. It is also normal for the nominee to sign a whole new Joint Fundraising Agreement with the DNC, which is exactly what Clinton did. Brazile has two different Agreements mixed up in her mind — and her publisher has failed on a basic fact-check. Either someone is too lazy to read the actual DNC documents for themselves, or they are lying on purpose....Here are the facts: of the $529 million Clinton raised under the Agreement, more than $107 million eventually went to the DNC while state parties received about $264 million. She only kept $158 million for her own campaign. It is true that Clinton ended up holding that money in a bank account for longer than she might have liked. But she could not disburse those funds until she was the official nominee, which did not happen until more than a month after the POLITICO hit piece. Why the delay? It was because Bernie Sanders refused to stop running even after he was mathematically eliminated in the delegate race. In fact, his supporters screamed and hollered bloody murder when the Associated Press made that call, refusing to admit defeat. As the acting DNC chair, Donna Brazile ought to be familiar with all these facts, and if her memory fails, she could just try doing a search at OpenSecrets.org. But why bother to know what you’re talking about when a popular lie will sell more copies of your book?"But of course, the Bernbots and the TrumpRussia crowd is jumping all over it.

This is news because now a fellow democrat has decided to throw HRC under the bus. Brazile could be telling the absolute truth, OR she made up a bunch of lies. She lied before, so could be possible. This book could be one big lie, but she gave names. Time will tell. Favoritism towards HRC was thrown about during the campaign, but not to this extent. While it's on nobody's radar here, there are plenty of dems in congress that seem to have a problem with it. Is there a problem with saying "dems/libs"? It's a hell of a lot better than the names said about people that didn't vote at all or towards those that voted for DT.

I will say this: Donna Brazile is trying to sell her book.
Sanders supporters knew the nomination was stolen, it's disheartening to learn how outright and unethical it may have been. The Democratic Party needs to seriously change or they may never win another election again.
Also, Hillary didn't win, I don't really care...Donna's just stirring up shit to sell her book.

She did email her the debate questions. The Russians hacked the DNC and it was leaked. I'm also wondering why this is news. Jason Chaffetz promised if reelected he would have her jailed. Then he resigned.

Is there a problem with saying "dems/libs"? It's a hell of a lot better than the names said about people that didn't vote at all or towards those that voted for DT. Bitch, please or bitch, please. Which one is nice which one is not. It's all about the tone. If I truly thought that some posters said it like the "democrat or liberal voters" I probably wouldn't be irritated but when certain posters post it all I hear is "libtards" or "dem-commies." Of course this is based on their past posts as I have only ever heard one pea speak out loud and have no idea how they sound in real life. Sadly, that's how message boards work. Can't hear that tone or inflection so all you have to go on is what they present. Some peas - even the deplorable ones - (sarcasm) are so kind and thoughtful when they post. You can tell they are here for a discussion and not a name calling fight. It is easy to "hear" them. It's not so easy to hear the "shit-posters." Of course this is IMO... YMMV.

linkNBC is running an article..”Memo Reveals Details Of Hillary Clinton - DNC Deal”. From the article.... “WASHINGTON — The Democratic National Committee struck a deal with Hillary Clinton in 2015 that gave her campaign input on some party staffing and spending decisions, but related only to preparations for the general election and other candidates would be allowed to make similar arrangements, according to a memo obtained by NBC News. The document provides more context to the explosive claims made by former DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile in a forthcoming book, an excerpt of which was published this week.” In the article is the memo outlining the “deal” that just proves the primaries were rigged against Bernie. Note to Elizabeth Warren - your dead as a Democrat forget about running for president in 2020. What bugs me are those who who insist that the primaries were stolen from Bernie and the Democrats had better change blab blab blab. To them I say phooey! Bernie lost because the majority of the Democrats who voted did not want him as the nominee. Another big reason Bernie lost was because he made big mistakes based on the choices he made. My thinking is when Bernie decided to run for President he thought it would only amount to pushing the Democratic Party more to the left. But when it became clear he had supporters he started making mistakes that ultimately lost him the nomination to Hillary. He wrote off the Southern States by not understanding the South. He made it clear Foreign Policy was an after thought with him. When it became clear that his greatest strength was independents he blew it. Unlike the Republicans not all of the primaries are closed. The Democrats have closed, semi-closed and open primaries. What he should have done was make sure he had people in the various states to make sure his potential voters knew what needed to be done so they could vote for him. Instead he started whining by using a rallying cry of “Let the people vote”. Like all of a sudden the various states were going to change the rules just because Bernie said they needed to. And there is no question he pissed off some Democrats when all of a sudden he became a Democrat to use the Party for his run for President. And if that wasn’t bad enough he demanded the party change to reflect his vision. I’m all for change. It’s healthy. But I want the change to come from real Democrats not part-timers when it suits them. There are some good young Democrats coming along. A little more to the left than past Democrats but that’s not a bad thing. As far as 2020 Democratic Presidential candidates Bernie and Elizabeth Warren need to step aside as their time has passed. The same with Joe Biden. As far as Donna Brazil’s and her book, she and the book can go and jump into the lake. Idiot.

The DNC should have been neutral in the presidential primary process, but weren't. Debbie Wasserman Schultz lost her job over it when the emails were released. There is so much evidence that to still deny all of this looks foolish.

The Russians hacking the DNC showed everyone they weren't neutral in the primary process. Are you concerned about what the Russians did, what they have on our current president, the numerous cabinet members who have been appointed, fired, indicted? There's many other serious issues with this administration. Personally, I'm all for making it fair. Post everything they have on Trump.

But heaven help me if I have to explain to my grandchildren in the next 10-20 years how I allowed the Russians to take over our elections and dummy government. I want to start with "for the last time," but I know it won't really be the last time. The nomination was NOT stolen. Bernie is not now and has never been a Democrat. He never had any special right to the Democratic nomination. He had less right to it than any actual Democrat had. The nominee was the candidate who garnered the most primary votes. From the Democratic electorate. Their choice. Also, it was not unethical for the DNC to prefer the candidate who was an actual Democrat and who they thought (however wrongly) would be most able to win in November. And finally, because I am still having this argument with my son a year later, no, I do not agree that if only Bernie had been the Democratic nominee, he would have won the presidency. The Republicans would have just turned all that "lock her up" talk into "he's a commie" talk. If anything, it is my belief that Bernie contributed greatly to Hillary's loss in November ... and not the other way around. Still fond of you. Even if you are wrong about this.
