I just absolutely hate this time of year! At least it's still warm here, so that's a plus. There's nothing worse than dark and cold...

I'd rather have it dark at night then still dark at 8am when we are leaving for school and work.

I hate it. I'm a cyclist so my bike riding after work is over until spring.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I hate the fact that it's still dark when I get up so yes I'm so ready to turn the clock back.

Well, the choice is between it still being dark at 9am and being dark at 5 pm for a couple weeks. While I hate that there are weeks where it is dark when I go to work and dark when I leave work, I don't think leaving daylight time is a great idea either.

I hate how early it gets dark but I don’t mind gaining an hour. DS is in a baseball tournament this weekend and games can get pretty early on Sunday morning. The extra hour will help.

I know people differ. I am looking forward to having the extra hour, and having more light in the morning. I get like you in the spring .

I hate it because I start feeling like my day is over and it's time to hit the couch with a blanket at 6:30 PM. My procrastination becomes epic level.

We don't change the clocks in Arizona but I really hate it because now the TV shows that I watch will be on an hour later. :-(

I don't understand the light in the morning. You get up and spend the majority of the time in the bathroom where you have the overhead lights on anyway. I'd rather have sunlight at the end of the day. Either way the day is too short here in the north so what's the difference 😋😞
Alberta just went through a whole thing if we should stop changing. The public was in favour but I think what made them keep it was that WestJet (airline), Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames made a big deal about it. Now BC is talking about maybe (not) changing. The way to do it is for everyone to stop doing it together!

I would prefer it be abolished. It messes me up for at least a week every time there’s a time change forward or back, thankfully I work from home and don’t have to punch a clock so I can work when I feel like it. The worst part is getting my night owl kid up and going in the morning, especially in the winter. Doesn’t matter if it’s light or dark outside, if it’s morning and cold she wants to have none of that!

The light in the morning supposedly makes it safer for kids to be out waiting for the school bus or making their way to school on foot so drivers can see them more easily. At least that’s the explanation that I’ve always heard.

For me, it was always dark when I got up in the morning at six, so the extra hour in the morning really wasn't great. If anything, the sun rising made the drive to work more difficult. I hate when it starts getting dark at 4:00 p.m. when many of the junior high kids are walking home from school. (They have late hours.) The only time kids have daylight is when they are in classes. Seems wrong. Hard to spend an hour outdoors when it is dark. I live in a state where lots of people spend time outdoors. I am glad they added three weeks of DST a few years back so we go back more quickly.

I feel like I should still be in bed. Our clocks went back last weekend 🙁

Me too! They said on the news the sun would set at 5 something now! I hate that. All we do after dinner is just sit on the sofa because we are so tired and it feels like bedtime. I love spring forward! We are so energetic and productive when it is light out until after 9:00pm! I love the time of year when it is light out before 6:00am until 9:00pm. Some people love the darkness, not me.
I have a very flexible schedule, because if I want to sleep an extra hour, I can just go to bed early or sleep later. I don't have a set bedtime schedule anyways, there are many nights where I lose sleep because we out, so the extra hour one night doesn't make a difference to me. If I worked full time I could see an extra hour even one day give me time to get stuff done though. I do hate darkness in the morning too, that's why I love the spring/summer.

My husband suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder, so my dislike for the darkness early in the evening got even greater when I met him and learned about this disorder and how so many are affected by it. His doctor sees a great increase in depression this time of year.

Ok, I gotta ask. Doesn't Daylight Saving Time END tonight? So what we are going to is actually what is the "real" time?

I'd be getting up in the dark no matter what, as my alarm goes off at 5 AM, but I do like not having to drive to work in the dark.

I'd prefer to see a half hour change then LEAVE it alone!
But I will also admit, for the past couple of weeks my morning commute has been in the dark and I often don't see the kids playing on the street corner waiting for the bus in the dark wearing their dark winter clothing. The time change means for another month or so there will be some morning light to see them (even if that isn't the reason for the time change it is a good "pro" to do it)

I like it because I've not been getting myself out of bed early enough. It doesn't get daylight until after 7:30; I'm usually up before but not that much without some natural light nudging me out of my nice warm bed.

I think most people would like to end the time changes, but we can't agree to which one everyone prefers. I think if we can get past the idea is has to be either one or the other we can agree. But somehow politicians can't seem to realize we can just split the difference between the two. Clock time is an artificial concept to begin with that can be changed on a whim. Instead of moving it an hour just move it 30 minutes and be done with it.
