No comments??!! I'm surprised. When Larry David was giving his monologue my dh and I were like. ewwww. that's going to get him in to trouble. It was pretty bad. I don't think the writing is as good this yr. ?

OH, yea, esp Larry David's monologue. Would love to hear what others thought.

I've seen it criticized by several sources this morning. It wasn't even funny. I could tell he was hesitant throughout the monologue, which made it even more awkward to watch.

I didn't really think anything of it one way or the other. I'm watching the show now. I love when Alec Baldwin does Tony Bennett though...dying hahaha

It was terrible! I laughed the hardest when he lost it in one of the sketches.

I thought it was horrible. I don't see humor in "jokes" about people in concentration camps. Not funny in any way.

No the opening monologue was not good.
I thought the rest of the show was pretty good, and yeah, I love Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett too!

I was not impressed. If anything, he is amateurish and he was a complete bomb.
And talking about the concentration camps? Ugh. He went too far.

The skit with the young wife was weird, it was obviously based on RH Erika Jayne. Maybe Larry David hates her husband. IDK, it was odd.
Might I just take a moment to say I really love how Miley Cyrus appears to enjoy life. She's fun. I love that about her.

Horrid. Watched with my husband and we were offended by his jokes. Still trying to figure out the entire skit about Quasi. His interpretation was good but it seemed like he was trying to fit in for the purpose he could imitate. Not that it’s a hard feat.
Alex was funny as Tony and thought Weekend Update had some funny moments but what I am missing with the every boxer’s girlfriend bit? I just couldn’t relate and kept hoping they would cut her off, but it dragged on.

what I am missing with the every boxer’s girlfriend bit? That one did make me laugh. They've done other skits like boxers girlfriend (every girl from a rom com movie). I forgot about Weekend Update, that was funny.

Might I just take a moment to say I really love how Miley Cyrus appears to enjoy life. She's fun. I love that about her. I also thought Miley was great. I thought the baby video was very self-deprecating. As for the rest if the show, I thought the Trump bros in Weekend Update were hilarious. I think they do a great job with them...

I watched, but obviously wasn't paying any attention to him. I never find him funny. Now, I love Miley! She seems to have matured some.
