You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Oh wow! I love looking at the gorgeous quilts. I have cousins who quilt and one who was an editor of a quilting magazine for years; I know she was at the show this year.
I've never heard of Yoko Saito but her work is amazing. I also love those appliqué quilts; the colors and patterns are gorgeous.
Who am I kidding - I couldn't pick a favorite even out of the ones you showed, and I'm sure there were more that I'd love to.
Thanks for posting the pictures!

I love it when you go to the quilt show! I look forward to this thread every year so thank you again for such beautiful eye candy! It is a real treat to see the talent. Yoko Saito is amazing! All of these are beautiful works of art! Thank you for saying that. I almost didn't post them this year, but talked myself into doing it. I just enjoy seeing these quilts every year and love to share the beauty and talent. And I agree, Yoko Saito is amazing! She taught a class this year and I've heard it was very good. The Japanese have some of the most beautiful quilts. Many of these shown are done by Japanese quilters. I seem to be instinctively drawn to them, as I take a photo first, then look at the information sheet.

Thanks for posting these! I've only made one quilt in my life (and discovered it isn't my thing as I really lack the patience!), but I love looking at all the amazing work! I might be a little biased, but I love all the Canadian quilts!

Just stunning! Amazing art. I sew but have never had the patience needed for quilting. Yoko Saito's work is the most beautiful. I can't stop looking at her quilts.
