The quilts are gorgeous. I love your pics.
Seeing all the Vincent Van Gogh quilts in person must have been beautiful. I love how they displayed them so closely hung together like one gigantic Vincent Van Gogh quilt. I think he would have loved it!

Add me to the "thank yous!" echoed on this post. I love seeing all of the beautiful artwork and I always send a link to my sister (who is not a Pea) so she can see them, too!

I love it when you go to the quilt show its ridiculously tough to pick a favorite, but the Van Gogh minis are pretty cool! I'm curious, as a non quilter I have no idea, but how much would one of the full sized quilts be sold for...if it was for sale?

Thanks for posting the quilts again this year. It amazes me the talent and vision that these people have. Whoa!!
I love the Vincent Van Gogh exhibit! Beautiful interpretation of his paintings.
I also really loved the ski town with all the colorful little houses!

As I scroll through each post with pictures, I think *THAT* is the best one I've seen so far... and then I scroll to the next post with pictures- just amazing!! thank you so much for posting them. I don't really have a "bucket list" of things I'd like to do, but after seeing these, if i did, going to that show would be one one of the items. What fascinates me each year about the Cherrywood Challenge is that everyone purchases the exact same set of fat quarters and uses the same theme. Yet every quilt is so different. It just shows how much creativity is out there! Next year's Cherrywood Challenge should be really good. The theme is Prince (as in the singer). The colors in the fabric bundle are deep purple through to black. Can't wait to see what transpires from all those bundles! I wondered what the Cherrywood Challenge was... thanks for the explanation! I think I'm going to do a lot of Google surfing later... I also agree that the third one in the very first post is just exquisite- I knew the pieces looked small, but after reading the post with the description info, I'm just speechless at the patience and talent. (Years ago, I took ONE class on hand-piecing and quilting, and only got the top layer of a wall hanging done. I KNOW I could never do anything that would even come CLOSE to any of these photos. I'll just admire their talent from afar, lol.)

Those area amazing! I'd love to see something like that someday.
I wonder if Yoko Saito is related to Kiyoshi Saito. I have one of his block prints (Steady Gaze). She looks to be about the right age to maybe be one of his daughters. That would be cool!
