Gale, I just singed into 2PeasRefugees to make the comment that the Stampin Up stamping platform seems to be going over favorably.
The Stampin Up preorder reservation window for the stamping platform started at 3:00 p.m. Central time and I logged into the Stampin Up website at 3:37 p.m. and the reservation window was already closed.
I imagine there are quite a few unhappy people. I am thankful that I didn't really need it, but just wanted it. |

Looks like the next reservation period won't have a limit for total numbers so it'll be the last one. Also, shipping has been pushed to mid March.
ETA : the later shipping date might only be for the later reservations. The email wasn't totally clear and the website hasn't been fully updated.

I'll be buying this probably.
UGH. Me too. Foe no good reason other than the fact that it looks a bit smaller than the TH platform (which I have and love) and I can see myself getting a lot of mileage out of using both of them at the same time. Due to my love for Lawn Fawn Critter stamps/dies since I am always stamping a BUNCH of images.

So I got an email and my stamparatus that was estimated to ship around Feb 1st is now going to ship around mid February. Why am I not surprised.

I was going to order one but I didn't want to deal with the pre-order thing. I'll just wait until everyone has one and it is are readily available. This will also give me some time to see reviews of it. I do like what I see with it and if it's like my other Stampin' Up gadget, it will be a great product. That's probably wise. I think it's good for the first batches to get their kinks worked out, too - if it's like TH's platform, there may be some that don't work great and have to be replaced. It is supposed to be in the new catalog so you'll be able to read all of the reviews and then decide if you want it, and you'll get it in a couple of days at that point. |
