Check this out. I don't know how they arrived at these numbers, but if it's anywhere in the vicinity, we as middle-class homeowners and rental home owners would take a substantial hit. Worth looking into. NAR is opposed to the Republican tax bill

Yeah, it's closer to $20K in my area, but we own two homes here (one is a rental) and rental homes in Arizona and Maine. The rentals are investments for our retirement and potentially to help pay for the girls' college, and a loss in equity like that would be a pretty big hit.
