Hello all! I was going through my collection of dies, and feel like I should get more word dies... I currently have a few from Waffle Flower, Lawn Fawn, MFT and American Crafts, but I wanted to know which ones are your favourites and most-used for card-making. Looking forward to reading everyone's responses.

From MFT - I love the big THANKS and big HELLO. I use these a lot because you can cut it out of patterned paper and pop the negative space up on a card base and you have a quick and easy card. I've emailed them and asked them to make a big HAPPY. I also have a set with scrpity lowercase words - thanks, hello, happy, birthday, sending, hugs, smile, best, wishes.
From SSS - the painted Happy Birthday.
From Sizzix/TH - the Celebrate thinlits (660223) - best, birthday, celebrate, congrats, good, happy, thanks, thinking of you. These are also in script but more of a classic style.
I'm looking forward to seeing what others use.

I have a few different Tim Holtz sets also. It seems like everything else is so limited, whereas TH have everything you need to fit an occasion or season.
ETA I'm thinking about getting a set like this. They also have a matching stamp. This one is from SSS but I think Lawn Fawn also has something similar.

I have a mix of dies. - CTMH, SU, Paper Smooches, Sizzix, Heidi Swapp, SSS, etc - all brands
I have the usual Happy Birthday, Hello, Thanks, Thank You,
But I use mine in my scrapping as well not just cards. I use the word YOU a lot - stamp the rest of the phrase, and die cut you (to, thank, miss, HB to... And also YOU at the start of a phrase - are special, will be missed, are one in a million etc etc)

I haven’t used them for anything other than card stock or patterned paper though. I haven't had any problems with them not cutting, but the words I bought are pretty thin so they are fiddly to glue down. Based on that, I won't be buying any more. I do think they are a good value.

I have most of the Die-Versions Wordlets and the matching Elizabeth Craft Designs words. Both companies have either discontinued most or will be. I have most of the Tim Holtz script words. Almost all of the Lawn Fawn word borders and the similar Avery Elle and one from another company. I also have the Technique Tuesday Straight Talk word border dies and the similar I/O word borders. Not to mention most of the QK words and quite a few Sizzix words. I LIKE words! Someone mentioned how hard they were to glue down. I just use my white glue with the ScraPerfect cap, dot glue on each end and random dots at the top and bottom. Holding it with my favorite reverse tweezers, run the glue side across a plastic bag or junk piece of cardstock (or even junk mail! ) to get the excess glue off and smooth it down. Then attach to card or page. I don't bother with Xyron anymore, never stuck down well permanently.

I know this is an old thread but I'm in the market for some word dies. I wanted to add Honey Bee stamps to the list. They have some really nice ones, and some have mats as well.

I have already posted on this thread but since then, I've acquired most of Karen Burniston's word die sets. She has several matching word die sets and 2 new larger ones, "Happy Birthday" and "Happily ever after" and a set that has several mix and match. I have all but two and plan to rectify that soon! Lawn Fawn word dies are my favorite, I especially like the scripty sayings ones, they look so nice across a card as a sentiment. Personally I am not a fan of the super big ones but that's just me.

I just placed a $70 order on Winnie & Walter word dies. $5 each seemed reasonable.
