Such a great deal on this Martha Stewart cable-knit throw at Macy's from now until 11/25. Originally $120, now $36. I'm cuddled up under one right now because it's such a cold, blustery day here. Highly recommend it -- SO warm and cozy! Merry early Christmas to me! Martha's Throw

Remember to use Ebates ladies! If you use the app you get another 4% back. Off topic but do you get Ebates on your Amazon orders? For some reason, it never pops up on the Amazon website when I go to order, but I can get it if I go to the ebates website and then to Amazon. SaveSave

SaveSaveI don't think so, I actually didn't think Ebates and Amazon worked together, so never tried. I don't typically order anything that isn't fulfilled by Amazon though. Going to check next time I order.

I used to follow all the Kohl's blanket threads and such... A couple of years ago, my Mom gave me the wool blanket I had on my bed as a child. It was in perfect shape except for the satin edging. And it wasn't one of the rough sort. All soft wool, well woven blanket. We lost our electric one night last winter and I put it on my bed. It was a fabulous warm sleep. It was so much better than any down blanket or electric blanket/mattress pad I've ever used. I've been collecting old wool blankets now and they're on everything from the beds to throws on the sofa and chairs. Such perfect blend of weight to warmth.

I have a couple of questions. Is it lightweight in actual weight or heavier? Do you have pets? If so, does the knit side hang on to pet hair? I know some yarns are more forgiving than others in that regard. Thanks!

I know some yarns are more forgiving than others in that regard. Thanks! I think it's a pretty heavy blanket in terms of actual weight, which is one of the reasons why I like it. I do have a dog, but she doesn't shed, so I can't help with insight there, unfortunately.
