Ugh - my shoulders have gotten to where they hurt so bad! I'm a side sleeper, and I haven't slept through the night in months. I wish I could dig a hole in my mattress, so I could lay on my side without putting pressure on my shoulder LOL!
Anyway, is there a pillow that you like for bad shoulders? I saw one pillow that was a wedge shape with a sort of tunnel for your arm to go through. It's $200 though, so I wanted to see if there was something people liked before I shell out that kind of money.

I swear by my Sobakawa buckwheat pillow. There's a slight adjustment/learning curve for some, but I no longer have neck/shoulder pain. ETA link to the one I have.

My husband has shoulder pain and has trouble sleeping because of it. He has bad arthritis in his should ever since he was 40. Thanks for starting this thread!

Following because I have the same problem. I was wondering if a body pillow would help relive some of the pressure from my shoulder? I've tried sleeping on my back but I always end up on my side.

I bought mine at bed bath and beyond for about $70. It is a life saver.
My chiropractor measured my neck so that I would get the correct one.

Go over to Texas Mattress Makers and get their best mattress - the one with layers of latex and memory foam and stuff over tons of pocketed coils. Your shoulder will thank you. Best, most comfortable sleep this side sleeper has had in years.
I do use a memory foam pillow with a ridge for neck support for side sleepers, and while that helped some, it didn’t help nearly as much as this mattress.
